How will you respond? What will you think or say?

I'll worry about that at season's end.

If the Rams can continue to run the ball with ZS, keeping Schotty wont look so bad. Remember he took the Jets, with MS to the AFC championship behind a solid running game. If he has SB AND an running game the sky is the limit. Do I think Schotty could do better with some of the play calling? Sure, but hindsight is 20/20, cant blame Schotty for everything that goes wrong.

i'm pissed about the 4th down call...

but i'm also more upset about givens dropping that WR screen TD..of course the former will get all the attention

Yep. That was lost TD #2. Pettis had Sherman beat in the corner of the endzone earlier, but Clemens had yet another free rusher in his face.

I'll think he made the right decision. If Schotty calls plays like he has the past four weeks (outside of that last idiotic goal line series) for an entire season with Bradford under center, we're going to have a very productive offense.

I'm more upset with Clemens embarrassing himself on national TV. If he even plays remotely well Schott looks less like a chump and more like a genius. Especially because Quick had his man on a step, if Clemens just throws it well we're walking out of here with a win. You can even see it in Quick's face, he expected it in front of him, was surprised when it was well behind him.

You give Schott some blame, but Clemens lost this game with his bad play.

You did see how fast he had to get rid of that ball, right?

Oh yeah I saw. That's not even my biggest gripe, I'm just pointing out that execution wasn't there either. Honestly we shouldn't have been running a pass to begin with.

Yeah, but, you just got done saying Quick was wide open. I agree that the execution wasn't there. If it was (at that moment), maybe we win.
Who knows. There's plenty of blame to go around, so I'm just trying to spread it evenly.

It's hard to when there's so many people that can be blamed. Though I think it's fair to say a big brunt of it does fall on Schott and Clemens.

Fair enough. It definitely could have been better, but he's a backup for a reason. I thought he extended some drives that could have stalled if he didn't break out the big balls tonight. And all the issues we've had with Bradford not getting protection were not solved tonight either.

They will stick with Bradford and that makes Schotty the right choice. No more new offenses to learn please.

No one expected this game to be that close, nevermind Rams winning it.

The last 8 games are about developing the young guys and weeding out the ones who can't play. Any wins we get are gravy.

And how did clemens loose the game when he would have had a td if givens wouldn't have dropped that slant pass on the goal line.

And Quick ran the wrong route on that last play, not to mention he was lines up wrong also.

Two INTs, one that directly lead to 7 points and the other killing what was looking like a promising drive, both severely overthrown, but not the worst overthrown balls that game, a lot of poor decision making. A lot of throws into tight coverage and throws that put our guys in danger.

IMO there will be several changes to the Coaching Staff..Schottenheimer will announce he's leaving to take a collegiate position IMO and WR Coach Ray Sherman needs to be shown the door. Reassign Walton and bring in a veteran DC. Seems to me Walton was forced to play the style last night and that is the defense the Rams should've been playing from the outset.

You know, I would hate for Sam to have to learn a whole new offense again. Not just him but everyone of our young WR's.

I would keep schotty but he definitely needs to call better plays inside the 5.

He didn't have a lot of poor decisions, he had just as many as any other qb would make. And throws into tight coverage?? U got to be kidding me, not saying clemens is good but GOOD qbs consistantly throw into tight coverage, double teams, some times triple teams. Sometimes u just gotta try to make a play and that's what he was doing on some plays. U are right about the picks, but what did u expect? He is a career backup for a reason. He played just aa I expected him to. He will probably throw atleast one pick a game.

And look at that last play. Quick didn't line up right, clemens had to tell him where to go and then who runs an out route in the endzone in that situation? Or was that an out route? When I first seen that touted u knew it was wrong, on the post game show on the radio they confirmed it was wrong.
