Hands down Spags.
Fisher converted almost the entire roster.
without a doubt bro. The roster when Spags left was complete and utter shit. At least only half- 3/5 of the roster was shit when Fisher left.

This is a classic don't believe the clippings game...This team should not be this bad...Jump on them early and often and don"t take the foot off the pedal !!!
I know they're having a bad season but whoever made this comment needs to be slapped back into reality.

Nobody lays claim to the "worst run organizaion" as long as the Browns are allowed to be in the league !!!

I'd usually guess a score of 55-0.....on a team like this...so, I'ma go 13-2 Rams..in a squeaker...maybe 15-3
IF the game goes like this (13-2 / 15-3) there will be a lot of upset Fans, and I'm talking Rams Fans!! This is a game we should and must totally Dominate! to show the Football World the Rams are for real, and will stomp on anyone given a chance!

I'll be Leading the Pack of those angry Rams IF you are right!!

Some of those articles sounds like the team has just given up. We were and we weren't like the season is over.

Any given Sunday, I wont sleep on any team and I hope McVay doesn't either.

True, but I don't think the Giants are as bad as their record states either
I agree with you. Same goes for SF but IMO the Niners are a better team than NY right now.

I expect a little rust from our guys and maybe some sloppy play but the Giants will have to devise a monumental 60 minute gameplan to get a win. I will say this, if the Rams play a turnover-free game on offense the NY football Giants have no chance.

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=trap game
A trap game is a game played against an opponent generally deemed to be easy to defeat. As a result a person or team may not prepare as thoroughly as they would for a formidable opponent. Often this attitude and its attendant lack of preparation lead to a loss.

I agree. I stated in another thread that I don't see the Rams coming out flat like in the past after a win. I don't see McVay, coaches and players not being prepared for the Giants. Other things concern me more like.

The Giants playing well with nothing to loose.
Possible rain but it's too early to know.
Some bad calls by the refs.

It's funny how fans of both teams seem to see this an easy Rams victory yet, the Rams are only favored by 3.5 points. McVay knows that no win in the NFL is easy and I'm sure he has been reminding everyone that they have to play their best to beat the Giants.
Yet since the home team is normally given like a 3 point edge, we are really talking about a TD of expectation that the Rams win....I think?

Classic trap game....glad we're coming off a bye....

Poor JJ....I guess he doesn't wanna tackle on a losing team....one of "those" type of players...

I look forward to this thread, so I'm not happy without ANY belief by the opposing fans...

I'd usually guess a score of 55-0.....on a team like this...so, I'ma go 13-2 Rams..in a squeaker...maybe 15-3

Dude, you have hedged on every Rams game this year! If we won by 30+ points vs the Cards, pretty sure you said it would be a close game, prolly winning by 3 points!....(notice the lack of blue font!)

I seriously doubt that McVay will take the Giants Lightly, He has faced them a lot in his years at Washington! No worries!(y);):D

Haven't read the whole thread yet, but isn't it ironic Janoris, who preached up and down our team didn't focus on winning and our culture was less competitive than that of the giants, is on a team now showing those same lack of winning characteristics, and we're on the dominating end lol.

Take that JJ, shoulda kept your trap shut! And honesty I'm not surprised by this news, you can change the jersey on the leopard, but you can't change the spots.

Actually, in the guess the score thread, I think I put 55-0 or 50 nothing....I expected a blowout...thought I might get a lil something since I correctly guessed the Cards score....

Looking at that team Dave....they still have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. We should win...but it is a road game...early in the morning out here....going east has always been a lil tough on the Rams....and those 10am games...I see a defensive battle....unless McVay....AND GOFF...go all 2017 on their asses...

how can anyone think our team would allow themselves to become complacent.
The press has been singing our praises out here....everyone has said this team is turned around....I know some of these guys can ignore it....but some of these guys....who knows?

If we had an older team...maybe all the praise heaped on their shoulders would just roll off...I think I saw at least 4 Rams on TV programs last week...McVay on Fox, Gurley....and one more player...Can't remember.

At least OUR QB....yep, the kid did something good in the bye week...I haven't seen him on anything....so hopefully he went to work with Sammy, Cooper & Cooper, Woods, Everett, and Higbee....just continue to build chemistry.

Giants’ coach Ben McAdoo losing credibility inside, outside locker room
by Ed Valentine

For a guy who GM Jerry Reese says is “smarter than all of us” McAdoo appears to have missed the lesson on maintaining credibility.

It’s apparent through the words of Eli Apple about the “culture” of the locker room and the disrespect shown to McAdoo by and ultimate suspensions of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Janoris Jenkins that at least certain segments of the Giants’ locker room have no use for their head coach.

Though it’s really a small, and insignificant to some, part of the story it’s also obvious that McAdoo has no friends in a media that has turned on him with a vengeance. See here and here for examples. Which is no wonder. I have been in enough McAdoo press conference to know he generally treats media members like ants to be squashed rather than people with a job to do.

Anyway, when the Jenkins suspension was announced Tuesday afternoon I wrote that “It’s difficult at this point to argue that McAdoo has control of the locker room.”

I reached out to a number of people on Tuesday night and got agreement with that viewpoint, with one telling me “It's not a 100 percent lock, but hard to find another more plausible angle on it.”

The Giants right now have far bigger problems than losing games. They are broken, from the top down.

The head coach has no credibility outside the locker room and, apparently, not enough inside of it.

There are nine games to go, and it’s hard to see how things get any better the rest of the way. It is also increasingly difficult to see how McAdoo survives and gets a third season as head coach.
--------
We need a rebuild. New GM, new coach, new players. Keep our top young guys, everyone else is expendable as far as I’m concerned
---------
We don't need a rebuild, there's alot of talent on this team
Lots of pro-bowlers and good players on this roster. Reese failed to address the weaknesses of this team (Offensive line and Linebackers that can cover TEs and RBs). Its the same shit for the past 6 years. Fix those, and this team can be a winner again.
---------
This team has problems, the D-line really isn’t one of them. I’d argue there’s more talent at depth that’s being wasted, hurting the starters. That’s on the coaching.

This is one of the youngest rosters in the league, and there’s solid talent at almost every position.
----------
The Giants are 27th in sacks per game
--------
This team desperately needs legit Linebackers. The group they have now is not terrible, but also not a group that can take advantage of the D line in front of them. Teams have no respect for the LB group and we see week after week of huge performances by TEs and by RBs when they get around or through the DLine.
--------
Its great to say we need a full rebuild but we are not the Browns this won’t be a 5 season thing. The Eagles and Rams have turned it around pretty quickly with new regimes keeping most of the core so what makes you say the pieces who won 11 games last year can’t repeat with a new regime and some new pieces?
--------
"Next regime should be able to choose their players"
Just look at the past Rams offseason, no real change in roster other than Whitworth and didn’t even have a first round pick and the new coaching took the talent they had from 4-12 to 5-2. Tearing a roster apart and taking on a ton of dead money does not work in the NFL. This isn’t the NBA where you just rip apart a roster and go sign 3 big names the next year – there are 53 spots you have to fill, you work with what talent you have and adjust over time.
---------
I’m going to keep harping about this until people (hopefully) get it. The Rams were arguably the WORST offense last season. Gurley even criticized the scheme and said they ran a high school offense last year. James Kratch from NJ.com continually bashes Jerry Reese for not signing Andrew Whitworth. Many fans regurgitate the same narrative as well.

Instead of digging deeper, they assume Andrew Whitworth is the only reason why the Rams are a top offense. Is he part of the reason? Of course. But, why the sudden surge to the top of the NFL ? Coaching. The Rams have an innovative, young coach who plays to his players strengths. They had the talent, they just weren’t being used properly under Fisher.

I would have to say the Giants are a more talented team than the Rams, why do we need to blow up a talented roster just because our coaching staff can’t put our players in the best position to win. Develop our young talented team and play to our strengths. How can we do this ? That’s a more challenging question. -------------
The Rams/Jets/Bills are all better than us at the moment...
---------
Love the guy or hate him.

Mcadoo would have survived this season with a really bad losing record. The owners wouldn’t fire him so quickly on that ground alone.

Losing the lockeroom, giving the image of the organization to being that of a circus and causing Met Life stadium to be packed with opposing team fans in our biggest rivalry homes games in addition to a losing season will get you fired.

I frankly don’t see any other choice at this point except firing him unless we literally run the table.
----------
I have given up on the coach.
We are talking about Jenkins here. He didn`t pull this on the Rams and we`re talking about Jeff Fisher. That guy is awful. This should show you what kind of shape the team is in right now. Purge!

He and Higbee were building chemistry court side at a Lakers game last week.

without a doubt bro. The roster when Spags left was complete and utter crap. At least only half- 3/5 of the roster was crap when Fisher left.

When those two, Snead and Fisher, stepped into the office I said many times that if they turned this team into a winner it would be the biggest turnaround/rebuild ever seen in the NFL..........the team was coming off of a 5 year span with the fewest wins ever, even back to when the NFL only played 12 games. It was the most putrid bowl of shit imaginable thanks to lousy ownership and a fucking horrible management team.

Now here we are and Snead has been the architect of this turn around. This has his fingerprints all over it, and that just cannot be denied. The Rams are 5-2 because of what Snead has accomplished.

Any given Sunday, I wont sleep on any team and I hope McVay doesn't either.

It's trite, but so very true. And we see it illustrated pretty much every Sunday during the season. A tipped pass, a fluke as a defender slips and leaves a WR open, or of course a ref fucking up a call. Haha. You have to always go all out. If I was a HC I would show the SB tape from the point the Falcons were up 28-3 a few times a season.

Haven't read the whole thread yet, but isn't it ironic Janoris, who preached up and down our team didn't focus on winning and our culture was less competitive than that of the giants, is on a team now showing those same lack of winning characteristics, and we're on the dominating end lol.

Nothing like a team player would ever disappear in difficult times to party on his birthday and not even send an email or text to anyone on the team.

Grow the fuck up. And enjoy the impending 1-7. After the secondary gets roasted maybe Goff or Gurley will say this at the post game presser HAHAHAHAHA

Actually, in the guess the score thread, I think I put 55-0 or 50 nothing....I expected a blowout...thought I might get a lil something since I correctly guessed the Cards score....

I'll give you 1,000 ROD dollars.

for every point the Cardinals scored. ;)
