Not to take anything away from Donald at all... but, like Mack, the media is in love with him and, on one play that I recall, Brockers was definitely at the QB with arms around him, then Donald finished off the job... but the announcers fell all over themselves giving Donald the sack.

It was Brockers... and I agree, he had a whale of a game... Suh as well. Really, the defense - as a whole - played great!

are you talking about the play where brockers pushed the guard back into the qb and donald took the qb down? i thought brockers got there first as well until they showed a different angle and brockers never got his hands on the qb.

maybe you're thinking of another play. there were so many.

Didnt learn anything this week I didnt know except maybe:

We are still preparing for every game and not looking past any opponent....To me this is no small thing either. A young team can easily start reading their press clippings and get a little overconfident and we have not done that yet.

Sign of great coaching, work ethic and team character.

Keeping in mind that the Whiners are not a good team with lots of injuries I went back and rewatched the game.

McVay was smart resting Gurley as much as he did. Brown looked good and ran hard.

Goff wasn't as bad as I first thought. The fumbled snap and bad throw to Everett sticks in your mind. Overall he played a solid game with some nice mid range throws.

Defense still let up some plays on passes to Kittle and some runs. Overall they got pressure and stopped runs up the middle. Got turnovers.

Special teams are complete with GZ back. Great game all around.

Nick Williams made some catches less than a week on the team.

AD is AD. Littleton is a player.

YEAH I SAID IT..........I like watching the punt team. Tease me all you want, I do not care!!! :yay:

I'd be lying if I said I didn't because so often you just say "wow" out loud as you watch the ball nearly outracing the camera and the return man either getting the hell out of the way or wildly scrambling backwards to get to the ball that is flying overhead.

Wait, what??? We have a punt team???

Its so strange to barely see the punt team now or days..

I learned that yesterday's TV crew had an unhealthy obsession with Dick Sherman.

Yeah he got more sideline shots than anyone it seemed..........I wish he could have played so he could have experienced the loss in a more bitter fashion.

I suspect the Rams are planning his return for that Saints game. Hopefully we will see him vs Green Bay this weekend, but IMO the Packers are not as good a team as Nawlins and that is the game where we need him back to be able to come out on top in that shootout.

Ya seat Kupp out vs. Packers w/ the prize game being the Aints. Also gives Everett more reps which we need to do and see what he can do w/ it

While I was at the game, I noticed some little things that the Rams do when the game in on TV timeout. Not sure if McVay directs this but at each stoppage, a guy runs our for the Rams and brings this board with spikes (like in golf) that allows the players to clean this cleats. I saw the D linemen and the LB's occasionally using it. It's these small things that perhaps makes some difference.

I also loved it when the whiner fans were screaming "Beat LA", well until we got up 10-0, then it stopped. LOL

Goff has the best deep touch in the game and Trubisky possibly the worst.
ya know, I watched that NE @ Chi game yesterday, and was amazed at the speed Trubisky throws the ball. All his passes are bullets..doesnt seem to have any touch on them tho

I Learned that Wade Finally listened to my advice and started sending the blitz more often which in turn freed up the double teams on Donald resulting in Chaos for opposing the offense.

Bringing Littleton up the middle and others is what we need.

Yeah, was most I think I saw Wade blitz all year. I wonder if that was a CJ Butthead specific strategy. Not sure we can do it as much with Rodgers.

I learned that we still don’t know where the ceiling is for the defense. The DL is playing way more disciplined and they are rewarded for it, granted against BeatHard. Talib is still out and Peters really starting to settle in.

Okoronkwo should make a contribution this year, Barron is steadily returning to form, and Littleton has been a pleasant surprise.
