Great game. The leg is back and seems as good as ever. Donald woke up, along with entire Dline. Littleton rocks Even Hill can play . All that D makes you forget we got an O as well .. Just wait until Kupp returns!!!

It’s ok if the offence isn’t firing on all cylinders when the defense plays with the intensity we saw yesterday. When the offence and defense is firing on all cylinders this team is unbeatable.

I realized we are better than I thought. We can win a lot of different ways. And we are getting better. We also are deeper than I thought.

The Special Teams do not get enough love. The best in the league.

The 9ers suck but with a better QB some of those plays are TDs imo.

Donald is beyond Special.

The Defense absolutely showed up yesterday.

Goff and Gurley combo makes everything else run.

I noticed with Kupp out it hurts. A big drop off after Woods and Cooks.

Nice having GZ back.

Littleton is making a serious case from him.

I never heard Marcus peters name all game.

Joyner is nowhere to be found.

Love that Wade shuffles his D in and out keeping everyone fresh. Hence Young getting that int.

I loved Natson in the preseason I love what he is doing for the team.

I could go on and on there are so many great things from yesterday.

Tough game coming up glad it is at home.

Considering he just basically walked in the building, I thought Williams did OK.

Yeah, he knows the system(s) and McVay likes him enough to bring him over.

I have a good feeling about him becoming a nice breather guy for Kupp, when he returns.

Just a hunch...

We'll learn a lot more after weeks 8 and 9 .

That's the truth, this thread will be much longer in the coming weeks.

Donald was right. The run defense did improve.

Michael Brockers had his best game of the season and nobody noticed because Donald is just that good.

It was Brockers... and I agree, he had a whale of a game... Suh as well. Really, the defense - as a whole - played great!

IMO it's just been a matter of them gelling..........and the defense seeing more deep drops because the offense is scoring and the defense is putting people in long yardage situations. I don't have anything to back that up except my eyeballs telling me that.

The Special Teams do not get enough love. The best in the league.

It's a treat to watch every facet of the STs groups, returners and kickers. I'd bet most of us don't get up during punts just because it's so much fun to watch Hekker because sometimes he just fucking uncorks a beauty.

YEAH I SAID IT..........I like watching the punt team. Tease me all you want, I do not care!!! :yay:

I'd be lying if I said I didn't because so often you just say "wow" out loud as you watch the ball nearly outracing the camera and the return man either getting the hell out of the way or wildly scrambling backwards to get to the ball that is flying overhead.

Looks like Donald is in midseason form. Playing like this consistently will make that contract look like a bargain.

Defense played well , it was also against a weak niners offense . Didnt see any open recievers , the D line was very aggressive and made plays .

I like how much the team is running the ball , brown and Gurley are getting huge holes to run thru.

Not worried about the passing game , dont need to throw it around if you can can run the ball and move down the field .
The 9ers oline "was" ranked around #3 in the league going into the game. May be ranked last now after yesterday!

Yesterday reminded me what it feels like to have a third phase of the game clickin on all cylinders. We have dangerous returns with Jojo on punts, good coverage teams production, and GZ back in there pounding the field goals.

The return of GZ is probably the biggest lift we could get going into this four game stretch vs very good teams. Just huge to get him back and we're going to need him. But the special teams overall coming together now is simply great timing.

I suspect the Rams are planning his return for that Saints game. Hopefully we will see him vs Green Bay this weekend, but IMO the Packers are not as good a team as Nawlins and that is the game where we need him back to be able to come out on top in that shootout.

No doubt. Big plays were there for the 9ers Beathard just couldn't convert them. Three really big ones I counted, with a couple of them earlier in the game that would have made things a bit more pressurized for us. Then the miss on Kittle late down the middle, of course the game was over by then.

Seattle was a great game for this team IMO. It reminded them they can be beaten and they've played better ball since. Hopefully they're about to go on a tear here over the next four too. :D

Peters had two bad games, and that's pretty much it.

He gave up a TD to the Chargers, but aside from the Vikings and Seahawks games, QBs have largely stayed away from him.

He's a stud.

Goff has the best deep touch in the game and Trubisky possibly the worst.

The D and the Special Teams are back!!! Going into the season it was clear that the offense would be good, but what separates the Rams from other high scoring teams are the other two units. Now we are seeing the full potential of the team, and I think the players have tremendous determination to put it all together.

We are now seeing the d-line, linebackers and secondary coming together, instead of falling apart at the seams. Donald has rounded into shape. The coaches and Suh have the d-line playing both to stop the run and sack the qb. Littleton is all over the field. Peters is all over whoever he's covering. Barron is starting to make plays. Ballhawking from everyone. Talib will come back for the playoffs. Even against an inexperienced qb they were still great. If they play anywhere near that level going forward and in the playoffs the Rams will run the table.

And not to underestimate the importance of the best kicker(s) in the game, a great return game, and incredible kick blocking. And if we ever need a punt, we have the best punter. Did anyone else notice how Baltimore lost on a missed point after? Too bad, we could have used the extra game up on New Orleans who right now looks like our biggest threat to home field advantage. We'll have to beat them instead to get there.

Most of all I'm impressed by the attitude of the team, especially on D, to keep working and get it right. It takes time to mesh a bunch of new pieces, even just on the d-line, but especially for the lbs and secondary. Especially in the secondary after losing Talib, who is qualified to be a field marshal and call the shots in Wade's D. I just see the D getting better and better, and stepping up big time in the playoffs.
