I could see that. But I think it’s more important getting info about whats actually offensive to native Americans from native Americans rather than white people telling us what we should be offended by. If you’ve ever been to a festival on an Indian reservation you’d be blown away by how many natives are wearing redskin shirts and gear yet they could care less about football. It’s a matter of pride that white people are taking away from us. Oh, and if calling us red is racist, why is calling someone white not? Only if white is considered “better” would they not be equal.

Commodes is interesting. Think I'd prefer to go with Command though. Washington Command has a powerful sound to it.
This is going to be funny though. Snyder will choose poorly. He can't help himself, it's who he is.
Yeah it would have been real easy for Snyder to do that, to round up some Native Americans and task them with a name that represents the area and is fierce and reflects well for everyone. Make them a part of it and all that.
Or bring them in and give tribe members passes to the game, some in the stands some at field level some in boxes. Make them a part of things that way.
Bottom line for me is I think the dude is a turd. And the whole Gruden thing doesn't reflect well on him either, from any perspective. Snyder is by far my most disliked owner and I really hate Spanos so that's saying something.

Show up At Requa CA the opening day of commercial salmon season, warm August day and you will see more than a few Redskins tattoos on the young men with their shirts off.
Nothing like a bunch of people with no "skin" in the game telling us we are supposed to be so offended.

I'm guessing the Admirals leak was legit and that's going to be the new name. A "fake" leak doesn't make much sense. Rams logo was leaked early too, ended up being accurate...
Seems like the perfect name for them. Ya know, since they had one of the best and most iconic logos and brands and then tossed it to appease a bunch of non-customers, then spent 2 years with the absolute dumbest name in the history of sports (and I thought the Texans were never going to be topped)...so why wouldn't, after all that time, they come up with something as uninspired and stupid as the "Admirals". I mean sure, that's a name which should be reserved for a place that has an actual, you know, naval base (or at least a navigable river, as the Potomac can't be traversed by much more than a small sailboat) and it speaks absolutely nothing towards the geography, people, or history of DC. And yes, hearing a name like that would be more fitting for the OTHER Washington 3000 miles away, but that's what makes it so perfect for this team. They've been making every bad move possible since 1992, why stop now, and why wouldn't it take 2 years to come up with this?
