The Washington Generals have been the Harlem Globetrotters whipping boys for decades. If I was a WFT fan I would hate that name just for the association. You know their rivals would be posting all these memes comparing the two teams.

It was talked about and litigated to death, there's no more discussion to be had about it... just arguing to argue and every take ends up having a political element to it.

The name is gone FOREVER. Might as well bitch and moan about the death of the copper land line or coming disappearance of human truck drivers.

Why is it so damn hard to just leave politics at the door?

This is especially frustrating because many of those who are the loudest about 'no politics' are among the first to violate that with their own not subtle takes.

Just fuckin stop. There is no obligation to post one's views about the old name.

For real... can we just focus on coming together as Rams fans from all walks of life and celebrate our team and fandom? Is that really too much to ask?

As a retro helmet guy this was my favorite of the earlier suggestions. But since Wolves has been eliminated I'm just gonna say please don't add black to the colors. Keep the maroon and gold since no other team has it.

Seeing Doug Williams liking the preview in that video... not sure where to go with that. His retro Outlaw team design was one of the better USFL logos but that's contradicting my wishes never to see current teams add black just to have black.

I would be really shocked if the logo they picked is NFL worthy though.

That field would be garbage in the MAC and isn't remotely good enough for Power 5 ball, let alone Professional football.

So if you're a conservative on ROD, feel free to flout the politics rules and make constant cheap political jabs, because your posts will get plenty of likes and laughs and be allowed to remain.

Should I take the high road and point out the constant line crossing, or shall I just start making my own cheap political jabs...? (EDIT: just deleted what I was about to write, hoping this post will remain un-deleted by a moderator).

Conservative jabs are okay, but progressive jabs get deleted right away.
