Gotta agree with those that bring up Ernest Jones being traded. We were told it was he because he missed time, fell behind, etc. Well, none of that seems to have hurt him in Tennessee, where he did not even know the coaches or scheme upon arrival.
One thing to take into account. The Rams only have 2.1M of cap space right now. Moving Jones saved them 2.4M

You do the math.

All these guys on IR have depleted our cap room.

We are about to go 1-4 because we aren’t beating the Packers with this shitty play calling and LB play.

Literally have zero clue what people are watching saying Reeder is decent.

1. AD covered for our shitty LB play, more specifically Reeder as our LB 2 role.

2. Jones might not have been an All Pro but he played the scheme well with the personal and could tackle. What happened? This is key thing I want to know with our secretive FO that won’t release anything out of respect for those involved.

3. ILB is an under valued on this McSneed organization, but they need to adjust with no AD anymore. We have a normal defense again with 2-4 blockers going to the second level and demolishing Reeder and Rozeboom.

4. Look if you don’t know basic LB play which is elementary I’ll let you in on the extreme basics. Even HOF to be Bobby Wagner stated his first practice focusing on helping Earnest Jones he literally stated what I stated in Jones’ draft thread “ needs to work on first step” why is that important? 1-2 seconds extra and proper angling to the play and your gap you are supposed to be in. Jones corrected this with Wagners help. Reeder just can’t get it after how years of college and NFL play?

B. Also as a LB your key read you use 75% + of the time is the guard on your side if you don’t know of what’s happening on that play and where the play is going. Watch Reeder when a guard pulls left for instance. Dude freaking takes forever to diagnosis and react and then he takes a shitty angle which combined gets him blocked with his shitty play 60% of the time.

5. Not even going to get into Rozeboom we all know how bad he is.

We are giving drives away that are costing us games because of the ILB positions giving them 1st downs one after another. It’s bad.

Stafford's too old for this shlt.
one thing I will say about Stafford….his mobility in the pocket is significantly better than it was when he first got here. He’s not Lamar, but he does a pretty good job of evading the rush and staying alive. He had an incredible play in the 4th where he made like 3 dudes miss but then Tyler Johnson stopped running his route for some reason. but we gotta do a better job keeping him clean

Actually every 3rd and 3 and less situation today - we ran the ball. Didn't pass the ball once in any situations like that...
Not talking about just today. He has been in the shotgun on 3rd and 1 for awhile now.
Terrible called game any way you want to slice it.
Its not like I want another coach. Just want better from him.
He is like a lot of smart people. Over thinks some things when simple is usually good.

I think he plays tennis in the offseason these days. He's out there with it all on his shoulders way too often though.

Too early to go for the 2-point conversion.

Was it McVay not running enough and the defense tee-off on Stafford?

Trying to block their best pass rusher with a TE and WR not a good idea

Certainly not getting the early TDs kept the Bears in the game.

One last comment.. this game is absolutely, 100% on the offense.

Yeah.. D was bad in second half.. but got the ball back twice at end.

The HORRIFIC incompetence of the offense today, and McVay’s lack of intestinal fortitude today… were the ballgame.
We gave up 4 straight scoring drives, 3 of them touchdowns. It was definitely a combo of RZ play calling and the defensive effort for the middle 50% of the game.

I 100% agree with you on everything you said.

And I will give you my opinion of Rozeboom. If a guard gets anywhere near him, he is not making a tackle. No ifs no ands no buts.

And then having him defend Moore in the Red Zone - wtf was that?

Two verse sacks negated by penalties.

Sean needs to work on his red zone plays. Utilize the TE and RB more.

Our run D is in bad shape.

Reeder isn’t the lb that needs to sit, it’s Rozeboom…..and why is he covering Moore?
