Then add Copper Kupp to the conversation!! Yes - I believe people have been over the FREAKING TOP.

Talk about TRACK RECORD & REGGIE as The Rams trainer.

Yeah it pisses me off when you put a player in a box like that. They(he) has worked hard to over come his injury.

Yeah- ask me how I feel.I remember going to Oxnard & Roger Saffold saying to us Fans that were there that I’m good,I’m alright. Then hearing him quote that he would out earn his last Rams contract.Which I think he did. I heard(saw) Fans here quoting how Whitworth was to old & not playout his contract.

We can talk about Todd Gurley as a perfect example of what he did as a Ram. Yeah maybe he SUCKED. I was upset The Rams signed him to that huge contract, but also Jared Goff as well.I don’t know, but I’ll use how The Rams waited with Aaron Donald.

My post on this got mixed around, but however it’s posted I’ll just say I like Terrell Lewis as a Ram.Believe he actually was a STEAL of 2020.When his Rams career is over I think some Rams will forget about how they posted negatively about his knee or injuries.I also think he is raw & that this Garrett kid will be exciting to watch. It’s hard to say. Last week he tried to BULL rush & both players need to know when the ball is coming out.One of the best plays both players have made was when they got in the passing lane.
Am I out of my mind or off beat? Maybe & more likely.Say as you will,I’ll continue posting the way I see it as well.

I like this Rams team.I look at it as a whole.Rob Havenstien had an excellent game, but that last sack he gave up can’t happen.Mcvay was upset(disappointed) & I think he needs(all players) need to play to the end.Hollins getting hurt happened because he tried to make an awkward tackle. All Players will always get hurt it just a matter of when & for how long.NFL players have played in pain for years & years.North Dallas Forty was a good book & movie. That’s about the extent of my book reading movie club experience.
GOD LOVING? YES!! Believe in Jesus Christ? YES!! Do I like what Jalen RAMsey stands for heck YES!! Amen he is a RAM.

What does this mean?
Sometimes in sports, athletes and coaches get big heads - especially when the worldwide media is telling them that they are the best. They stop pushing to be better. They feel like they have arrived and they take their foot off the gas. Then hungrier teams try harder - they want to be #1. And so it goes.

Of course, I don’t think this is the personality of the Rams - I think we have good leadership who will squash that mindset quickly - but sometimes it’s better to be in the shadows than on the top podium.

we are going to get opposing teams best efforts. They will be coming for us. Let’s just hope that being the favorite suits this team.

No doubt. And tbh my perception is that the Rams the past few years (to include 2018) had a tendency to wilt a bit when they end up in that catbird seat where they're getting all the attention. In 2018 that tendency to lose games like that in part cost them the high seed. They still got to the dance but it seemed to me they were at their best as the underdog.

So will this year's roster be able to handle being the anointed team? Man I hope so. This might all be a perception thing but I definitely feel like it's been an issue for them.

I don't think that's the case this year. They still have nightmares about the 2018 season and the Superbowl.

Yea exactly. The days of "we need to run the ball to make sure the play action game is effective" days are over. Stafford prefers to be in shotgun it seems. And our PA % has dropped from #1, #1, & #2 the last 3 years down to #16 this year. So we are definitely less predictable from an empty gun set. Loving the versatility to this offense right now.
How ironic -- one of the knocks on Detroit over the years was that Stafford almost never had a running game to lean on. And many claimed he wouldn't have that problem in LA. Well, it's not a problem -- yet -- but Stafford STILL doesn't have a running game behind him.

No. Puss. Like disease ridden, bacteria infested, yuck yuck sauce. The stuff inside a cyst. That's Skip's core.
Skip moans and rocks and says "Mmmm...Mmmmm...Mmmmm," while waiting for his turn...

We'll we still are keeping people honest with the run whereas Detroit wouldn't even try to run the ball. Michel had 20 rush attempts versus the Bucs with the best run D in the NFL. But I get what you're saying. However McVay's scheme offers solutions Stafford has never had before. He's never played in an offense remotely close to this. Not to mention he's got a top 5 defense to help him too. If we had Akers healthy I would be very confident saying we'd make the NFCC game at least. I still feel that way right now if we stay healthy.

Well by Monday night, after the Rams got their balls washed all day, I started to get complacent.
But Tuesday morning I was back at it ready to prepare myself down to the last detail, to watch the Rams kick some Murry ass.

I have faith McVay will keep the team grounded since he still has the sting of 2018 fresh in his mind. When you actually know how it feels you damn well don't want to be back in that place.
