Golden Taint was on the show today and praises the Rams

EDIT: And Kay! (for those who have been yearning for her approval)

Hmm. Seems like the people who don't bye into the Stafford can't win big games
are people who have played with him or against him.
And the people who do buy into it have never played or have never went back and watched film.
Tate CLEARED THAT UP VERY NICELY.

Most of what I’m hearing is equivocation.

“Yeah, the Rams won and Stafford is an upgrade and KUPP is balling out and AD and Ramsey are studs… but Tompa didn’t have JPP or AB and come playoff time, that’ll be the difference.”

It all has this subtle air of condescension as if “that’s fine for the regular season, but Stafford’s never won a playoff game, so…” with the insinuation or outright claim that none of this matters because Stafford will fold in the playoffs.

As God is my witness, I hope we cut a path through our opponents so vast, it makes Sherman’s March to Atlanta seem like a camping trip with the fellas!!!

Book it! STAFFORD IS GONNA SHRED OPPONENTS IN THE PLAYOFFS!!! And we’re gonna be buying Sports Illustrated for the Rams Super Bowl victory phone cackling to one another, “WASSUUUUUUP!!!”
Nice Sherman reference. As if you weren't one of my favorite posters already, that's a huge plus for me.

Taint is looking for a job in LA... lol

I worry about all these accolades so early in the season. But a lot of the players seem to have bought into McVay's message. We don't hear them claiming to be the best. Its one week at a time. There will be losses. They key is how they respond to those losses. I think McVay has them well grounded to keep their eyes on the big picture.
I don't want the flavor of the week talking heads on our side. Go away. Find some other team to drool over.

Ancient saying, "When the battle is joined, the underdog will win."

He isn't human, so his opinion doesn't count. That man is sentient excrement.

I know what you're thinking.
"Wait. Don't you mean sapient excrement?"

Absolutely fucking not. No thoughts have ever passed through that dipshit's cranial cavity. I've swept more intelligent things off the floor of a barber shop. He exists only to piss people off and, just like some kind of parasitic emotional vampire, he feeds and lives on that.
NOT sentient. That's an insult to all forms of awareness everywhere.

He can feel what pisses us off. That's about it. Although I'd be interested in the conspiracy theory that he's as robot programmed by the network to make everyone angry.

Skip Bayless is a shock jock drama queen on so many levels.

He's right about a few things.

Dean should've intercepted the deflection off of Kupp's hands in the first quarter. The Rams easily could've held them to a field goal.

Bucs Injuries:

Bucs were severely depleted in the secondary.

Gronk dropped some momentum swinging catches.

Bucs missed Jason Pierre-Paul's pass rushing ability.

Bucs missed WR Antonio Brown.

I laugh at the armchair sports media guys.

The Rams were not losing that game yesterday even if the Bucs were at full strength.

The 2021 Los Angeles Rams are a special team. I think most pundits agree for now.

After 3 games, the Rams are a little bit better than the top 5 or 6 teams behind them.

This could change and there is no guarantees the Rams will roll the NFL as the last team standing.

14 more games and a bye week to go.

I'm already focused on the Cardinals and ready to see if the Rams come out with more haymakers for sole possession of first place in the NFC West.

When this offense goes empty with Stafford back there it feels like the defense is fucked. So not surprised by those numbers. Defenses just look exposed and spread out like "oh shit now what?"

Yea exactly. The days of "we need to run the ball to make sure the play action game is effective" days are over. Stafford prefers to be in shotgun it seems. And our PA % has dropped from #1, #1, & #2 the last 3 years down to #16 this year. So we are definitely less predictable from an empty gun set. Loving the versatility to this offense right now.
