I'm talking about the wisdom of bringing him back.
I also see multiple teams with multiple missed XPs over the course of the season with the same kickers?

And.. Maher's long is better than his. Again.. I don't know.. I just know that making a move just to make a move isn't the way to go.

Patterson is literally 15% better on accuracy and not a historically known playoff choker. Maher is who he is and Patterson is statistically much better. Keeping Maher and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. Of course all if this does depend on Dustin Hopkins health for the Browns because he's a superior kicker compared to both by a mile. If Hopkins can't get healthy, then we probably will stick with Maher which is scary as fuck and could bite us in the ass come playoff time.

I am fully on board with the go for 2 philosophy. We still need a kicker because there will still be times that we need to try for FGs and we will need to just hold our breath when those times come - but when we score TDs, we need to be going for 2 - full stop.

Because Bagdley is just as accurate and has a stronger leg in the Lions opinion. It took the Lions weeks to decide who to go with based on a behind the scenes kicking competition. It's not like Riley was sucking ass so bad like our kickers. By the way, the Browns picked him up and they are also a playoff team.

Totally agree there and I'm not totally saying they won't stick with Maher either if Patterson isn't available. I believe they will if that happens. However, if Hopkins becomes available, McVay would be beyond stupid to not attempt to sign him ASAP. All this is obviously TBD. I'm not sure watching Maher kick is good for my blood pressure hahaha
