He hasn't been charged with anything. There's no proof he did anything wrong. He shouldn't even be suspended.

I hate this story so much. The ambulance chaser played his opportunity perfectly. Every other lawyer in Houston wouldn't touch the flimsy case. Only he saw the opportunity to find all the women who interacted with Watson and banded them together to make some easy money. Throw around some tears in the media and they all get their pay day.

The NFL leaked the 2-8 games to gauge the reaction to find out which way to go.

Its going to be a pleasure to watch people get up in arms against those hypocrites.
 
If they are only basing it on the 4 cases, then 2-8 seems appropriate. There is a reason why the court of public opinion doesnt issue sentences....

It was with the Commissioner. It didn't work-out too well in prior cases. The Commissioner and the League were criticized, so the process was changed to potentially give the Commissioner's Office and the NFL a little protection against criticism in future cases.

I told you why. Collective bargained agreement. The two sides of this contract chose this. The players don’t trust the commish to be fair to the players and the league doesn’t trust the union to adequately punish the players. So they agreed to this independent judge. Honestly before this some of Rogers punishments were laughably bad. Some things in the cba are still idiotic for example aWatson will be suspended less than a player was for using fan duels which is a league sponsor. But the two sides agreed to this contract.

There were 2 grand jurys which at least means there was something there. Just because they didn't proceed with a case against him doesn't mean anything in today's judicial world. Criminals are treated as victims and victims treated as malcontent whistleblowers. Nobody has dozens of masseuses without expecting something in return, don't be naive. I'm not gonna hold court in condemning him but I'm sure as hell not gonna defend him.
 
This is all so weird. I personally do not agree especially looking at the Bauer incident. Each league does as they please again but Bauer one isolated incident he is a tool but explained in great detail still a tool but also lost what 60 million dollars and 365 games. Neither guy was found guilty 6 games to me is a non starter. If it was one or two isolated instances with Watson then while still deplorable 6 games and some professional help along with making it up to some charity or public speaking for women etc. Fine but such a weird difference in outcomes. Won't even get into Ridley yes gambling is a no no but dude got a year no pay rt? Lost 11 million? Watson losses less than 500000 if that and not interested in what he paid through settlements.

Something worse is the Browns they went from poor browns rooting for them to hated for me anyway I hope they always suck they may be worse than Watson as by giving him that contract and structuring it that way all they did was enable and condone his actions. They might even be taking care of his settlements behind the scenes. Shit ownership desperate and no morals.

Time to focus on our Rams a class organization.
