Starter Joe Noteboom played 6 games

Starter Rob Havenstein played 9 games

First year starter Brian Allen started 9 games

7th round pick, 3rd year starter Austin Blythe played 15 games

The offensive line last year was shit and everyone here knows it and for that matter, Atlanta's offensive line is offensive, so I don't expect TGIII to have a great year for that reason.

Good luck, Todd

I was one of gurleys biggest critics on this board last season ... loved what he did for the rams loved everything he gave to us over the years .. but last season for whatever reason his demeanour his attitude and his play stank

Wish him luck but glad he is gone

I loved Gurley as a Ram but something changed and only those in the locker room really know. I think Sean MvVay dealt with it very well and never threw him under the bus. McVay got lots of criticism for the way he handled the injury questions but he never placed the blame on Gurley. I think it was time for both parties to move on. Gurley has looked good especially in the first half in Atlanta but curiously has disappeared late in very close games and was a complete non factor late in the loss to the Cowboys when his team was protecting a huge lead. You can blame it on poor play calling but much like late in the big games for the Rams Gurley somehow dissapears.

Mmmhmmm, he became our drama queen last season. His decline in play doesn’t bother me. People get hurt, people get old, and well...shit happens. What I cannot accept is his decline from a locker room leader to a diva in less than 16 games. It was a good split for both team and player. Now I’m over TG tbh.

This brought back flashbacks of Marshall Faulk sealing away games late during GSoT. Completely battered defense trying to bring him down. I have a tear in my eye...

I don't get why people "Don't want to talk ill" about him. If it's THE TRUTH, speak it.

Todd Gurley was bad. Not just in his play but in his demeanor and attitude. He CAUSED a lot of what was wrong with our team, last year...

What exactly is the truth? So you were in the locker room and know all the details huh? Todd was an AMAZING player who balled out for this team and I still appreciate that, my feeling aren't so fragile as to be upset by a salty tweet or two

Gurley clearly in my book had lost it physically. That contributed mentally as well especially in the pass game. He just couldn’t run routes and catch with any consistency.

Part of our offensive resurgence is the fact that our RB’s are catching the ball and running for hard yards.

It was a shame fans were turning on McVay. His job is to make sure the fans have a team that wins. Catering to hurt players makes everyone lose.

Yeah, more and more it looks like Todd's knee wasn't the only problem and that is attitude was a big contributor to our problems last year. Hate to think that because I want to remember him as a special player for the Rams, and certainly he was for a time. But after his knee flared up in late '18, he because just another RB who only occasionally showed flashes of his old self. And if that created drama that helped take the team down a notch or two last year, it's all the better that he's gone.

One thing to note, as Cowherd mentioned in his video, is how much McVay took all the heat for what happened with Todd last year. He never threw him under the bus, he always redirected any criticism of Todd's use away from Todd and to himself. Yet, while we were all scratching our heads wondering what the hell was going on, it wasn't really McVay who was the problem, despite what he was saying to the public. If anything, it's a testament to how great of a coach he is, because with all the shit swirling last year, the Rams were one or two plays away from making the playoffs.

Rams locker room culture under McVay is too strong for one guy to bring it down, even if he wanted to (and I don't believe for a minute Todd is that kind of guy). Offense regressed in just about every area in '19, IMO.

Love what I've seen so far, but it's a long season and they have to keep it up. McVay shows a willingness to run on 1st, 2nd or 3rd down and that's a change from last year. And it's nice to see Big Rob blocking like his old self. Just hope our RBs can stay healthy. Malcolm Brown has his own history with injuries.

he was definitely a different player inside the redzone last season.

quite possibly the best rb in the league when he got a sniff of the endzone.

unforunately the field is 100 yards long and there was work that needed to be done to get to the redzone. the rams didn't make it there enough last season.

No idea what happened but it was clear Gurley was not a happy camper. We all saw the sulking last season, the refusal to acknowledge McVay as he walked off the field, and the side comments he made after he was released. There was obvious tension there. I'm impressed at how well McVay kept it all to himself though and never once made a negative comment about the situation. Whatever happened it doesn't matter because they are both free of each other. And we are definitely better for it this season compared to last.

Gurley, I don't know I guess its the knee. He's never been a RB who'll make multiple cuts and run all over the field doing magical stuff, he's always been a one cut and sprint past everyone type. But he barely did that last season. He just ran straight and spent little effort avoiding it seemed like. He still has the speed but if there wasn't an open hole for him he wasn't getting anything. This season I'm not sure we've had more than one negative run play. Always getting positive yards even when hit early. That's been a huge boon to this offense. Every offense struggles going into a 2nd or 3rd and 12. So far he's looked the same in Atlanta. Not doing much there either.
To be fair their run blocking looks worse than ours did last year

Truth? Can you prove anything you said? No you cant. You wont find a single quote from anyone in the rams org saying anything negative about Todd. Not a single one. Dont say something is true without anything to back it up. From what the public knows todd was a great player/teammate and nothing/know one has said otherwise. Todd was great with the rams and never complained. I truly dont understand the hate unless you people had a problem with him from the start.

Will some computer guy pull up the vid of him rolling his eyes after McVay high five.ed him, please ? Can not be that hard to find, Ramsey's first game.
It would be made into meme central around here.
You know, myself I have always like the Rams having the bellcow RB. NFL leader type thing. We have the best RB and DL legacy in the history in the game.
But........ if it means keeping prima donna's off the team and everyone else is happy I am all for the committee thing. SJ was that way too. Fisher fed him too much to keep him happy. Marshal was not that way with us. Besides, in his prime he was always the best player on the field.

Let's faced it the Rams overshot the market with the Gurley extension. The four year average of the $60 with $45 Million guaranteed was far more than they should have or had to give him.

I think McVay should have given the ball to TG more early in the year. He wasn't the same RB but, ran hard later in the year. I think TG wanted the ball and he resented not getting the carries even though he was in a lot for his blocking ability. Sulking is not a good look but, for a world-class athlete, it can be difficult to accept physical limitations due to injury. It worked out the best it could with the Falcons picking up TG after the Rams cut him saving the Rams IIRC $5 Million in cap space. The Rams have moved on with Brown, Henderson and Akers. TG was a big part of the Rams turn around.

Todd's record speaks for it's self no matter who "agrees" with it or not
