Gurley feels way mor Dickerson, bitter ex player. Less like Jackson who moved on for his and the the teams need IMO.
Grateful Gurley was a Ram for his time. It’s not like he wasn’t given a chance to be the best, he was for a few years. That’s more than most RBs ever experience.

I kinda agree...but defenses had Bruce, Holt, Warner, etc... to keep an eye on as well.

Eric Dickerson on the other hand....the only other offensive threat back then was Henry Ellard. (Maybe an honorable mention to Ron Brown).
Everyone in the stadium knew ED was getting the ball, and he was still able to put up numbers.

Different era to be sure, though.
If you want to say pure runner sure ED , but let's not forget the O Line he had.

Imho Faulk is 1 of or is the most complete smartest Backs ever.

Lol at anyone putting SJax above Faulk or Dickerson.... That's just..... No. He's a distant 3rs at best IMO. I would put TG above him personally.

Disagree on Jackson being below Gurley. Jackson in this offense would threaten 2,000 yards from scrimmage every year in his prime. That's what he did in 2006.

While he was very good I'm not putting him ahead of Dickerson or Faulk, not way behind either but he's not 1st or 2nd to me.

Of course not, but Jackson's easily the third best, and in my honest opinion, he deserves to be in Canton - and not just with a ticket.

SJ39 would've put up HOF numbers had he played in McVay's system, I've no doubt about that.

Gurley would've been a HOFer too if he played a full career with McVay. Averaged 4.5 YPC and 18 TDs a year with him.

Dude, I was at that game too! Awesome day with my youngest son (Ram fan too)!
Cooper Kupp’s TD in that game was awesome. My 2 nephews, 2 brothers and my Wife and I am were all that game. We are all Rams fans. I couldn’t believe how many Rams fans there were at that game. It was awesome.
