So the Rams with held 26,000 seats from the public to buy? Interesting since the article I posted lists this:
The tickets distributed includes tickets given away. So a stadium that holds 66,000 only made 40,000 tickets available to the public but they still managed to have almost 52,000 attendance with only making 40,000 available to purchase? I'm not sure the numbers of this rumor add up. BTW that article I linked was written by JT. Nowhere in the article does the local reporter say anything about tickets being withheld, and you would think if this is a rumor he started he'd address it in this article. He does mention he thought there were only 40,000 people in attendance. I'm simply going off what I saw on my tv, what I heard from the crowd they were very loud, as were the Seahawk fans.
This isn't addressed to you
@iced but I'm not going to make a separate post for it. It's humorous that people want to hurt Stan by not going to games they'll sit at home and watch it instead. That's fine and it's everybody's decision on how they want to live through this situation. But I find it funny that people think they're hurting Stan by supporting his biggest revenue stream. NFL owners received $226.4 million dollars for their share of the TV contract. The same year for that the Rams reported $290 million in total revenue. So by all means boycott Stan as you see fit it's your choice, but by watching him on TV you're helping him in the best way you possibly can. Myself if I were in St Louis and wanted to stick it to him I'd buy the cheapest ticket I could find and knowing the stadium was going to be only 2/3 full I'd then migrate to a better seat. I'd eat and drink prior to the game and not purchase anything inside the stadium. That's just me but that sticks it to him a hell of a lot more than sitting on your couch watching the TV, especially if you paid for the NFL Direct TV package lol.
