Almost as ridiculous as giving up a 17-point lead.
Our coaches went full pussy mode and cost us the game.
I don't know but it sure as heck wasn't man to man.
They should have had Ramsey man to man on Deebo on the last drives of each half.
I don't blame Morris on the other drives. That was just the defense getting trucked.
But when you are up by 7 with a minute left, you assign Ramsey to Deebo and say stick with him no matter what.

Sorry guys, I only caught the game in spurts because I was at work. It seemed to me when we blitzed, Jimmy G-string got rattled more often than not. Why don't we play that agressive against them all the time to try to break him?
Yeah and he gave them a 24-17 lead and Jimmy G 90 yards to go with no timeouts. Think he did his job!

Even if I was trying to say this is Morris' fault (which I'm not) I can't count on you to be objective or look at facts about that. True to form, if I say he cost us this game you'd start talking about other games just like when we talk about a specific play you start taking about other plays.
My point was, you are super quick to shit on McVay given how thoroughly you're willing to defend some coaches. Coaches who haven't earned that defense.

As for why we can't beat the niners? Idk. We were doing a hell of a job on defense up until that last drive of the first half. Classic prevent defense time. Classic prevent defense performance. Then more of the same shit to start the second half. Once it was even the defensive players suddenly figure out how to play again? Then when we're up by a touchdown with 88 yards and 87 seconds left, suddenly the defense forgets how to play again? Classic prevent defense time. Classic prevent defense performance.
The offense had it's fair share of fuck ups. The defense has it's fair share of fuck ups. It's never one thing. Surprisingly, special teams was fine.
He wasn't the only problem. There was some dude I don't know the name of, number 11, they just left his ass wide open 80% of the game and he just kept carving things up. Half the time I couldn't even figure out who was supposed to be defending him because he was so alone.
