We ran the rock 9 times tonight...hahahahahahahahaha even crappy teams getting hammered find ways to try to run a little more than that. I had some hope with the way Sean called the running game against Chicago. I suppose if the Bears would have made their first 2 field goals, maybe he would have abandoned the run last week too.

Well the defense has been good recently against a bunch of shitty ass Quarterbacks.

Saying they gave up because they knew the offense wasn't going to do anything.. lol c'mon bro.

Defense didn't even allow the offense to be on the field all night.

Defense allowed the Ravens twice the time of possession, true

Offense was completely inept as well though. 2 for 9 3rd down conversion. No consistency. No momentum. How much time does mcvay need to get the O going?

It’s LA. Thug teams draw well

yes I live here and see the BS every day.

So the Ravens are thugs now because they stomped us at home?

Are the PAts and Saints thugs too because they run up the score?

How about us in 2017 and last year? The Chiefs in 2018?

Not sure about calling them thugs but running up the score is pretty shitty

Turned off the game before halftime. The Rams stood no chance. What an absolute embarrassment. Third place here we come.

One other quick vent - Fuck Eric Weddle, who was obviously more loyal to the Ravens than the team he currently plays for. It won't happen in the season, but I definitely cut his ass in the offseason. If he's so loyal to the Ravens he can go back there and beg Harbaugh for his old job back.

I must say, I feel better after this loss than I did the stealers one. The rams simply weren't good enough to win today. They have next to zero chance to make the playoffs now so I don't need to fret about it anymore.

McVay is so easy to figure out. 11 Personnel all game long and no running game. Loss was all on Mc Vay. No adjustments. Nothing. Nada. Zilch!

Also, big mistake in extending Goff.
Goff will not take the Rams any further. He’s peaked. His ceiling is it. And it shows! Missed throws to Higbee, Cooks and Robert Woods. Two interceptions. 0 TD. Maybe the SoCal surfs are too good and laid back for him in Year 4.
Find a trade partner while the Rams can get whatever value there is for Goff. Otherwise, Niners, Seahawks and possibly Cardinals are restocking talents in a very nasty and competitive NFC West for next year and Rams are looking at last place when they play in the new SoFi stadium.

Some vents for me:

1. Anytime we got some momentum, instead of going no huddle we would huddle or take a timeout.

2. Fowler and Matthew's consistantly shooting past Jackson or Ingram.

3. 3rd and 2 and we go long....

4. Top 5 in run defense and all they did was run.

5. Weddle was useless.

6. I'm embarrassed.

How about us in 2017 and last year?

Who did we run up the score on in those two season? Last season we scored a lot because we had to, as our D was giving up a lot. In 2017, the only game you could really point to is when we laid 51 on the Giants, but McVay took his foot off the pedal in the 4th quarter. When we whipped Seattle in their house, our last TD came on the opening drive of the 3rd quarter, after that we pretty much stayed on the ground on offense and spent a lot of time in soft zones if not prevent. I haven't seen McVay do anything close to what the classless POS Harbaugh did tonight.

Karma is a bitch though, it will get him sooner or later.

And thus, why I don't read any posts in that thread once the game has started.

Oh, shut up with the Goff crap. It's his 4th year, his O-Line has sucked for most of it, his head coach hasn't adjusted, and he's predictably having a down year. Look at Manning's 4th year stats, for a 6-10 team:

And before you say "well, yeah, but Manning's a HOFer", well, he wasn't a HOFer after 4 seasons, and at that time he hadn't even won a playoff game.

Gawd, Rams fans are the dumbest fans in the world when it comes to QB's. As soon as they hit a speed bump, they want to dump them, having no appreciation for the fact that the NFL has ups and downs, no appreciation for the fact of how hard it is to find a quality QB, and no appreciation how breakdowns around the QB can affect them.

Goff hasn't played well this year to be sure, and yes, he too needs to look in the mirror. But to give up on him now would be absolute stupidity.

FWIW in the 4th Quarter I put on the Movie Chocolat....That's right, I felt it was my penance to watch an artsy film before posting about the game....Still watching the movie, but heading to bed soon.

This is what an offense looks like when the O-Line is dominant.

Everyone else looks unstoppable. MASSIVE HOLES to run through.

Jackson isn't going to last in this league running 15 times a game. It's the History of the NFL. Running QB's are flash in the pan. Watch what happens when his O-line becomes average.

As for the Rams, can't compete when you have Zero run game and the worst O-line in the NFL.

I dunno. He runs like a tailback. Not sure that has ever been the case with a “running” QB before. He doesn’t ever take a hard hit with that speed, wiggle and spin move. He can read defenses and throw too. I think he will great for a long time because he looks to throw first...kinda like a faster Steve Young and protects himself like Floyd Mayweather. Don’t mean to be sucking the kid’s DNA rifle or anything, just think he has a unique skill set and he is not like Vick or RGIII who both were quick to run if the first read was not there and both took some hard shots. This Jackson kid has staying power IMO. Fuck him and the Ravens and the cesspool known as Baltimore (good place to score drugs and enjoy a nice mugging at gunpoint, otherwise a shithole).

Games like this happen sometimes. Remember - Seattle beat us and lost a game exactly like this tonight in the same season. Ravens are rolling and we're scuffling a bit - but our roster is still as talented if not more than theirs overall.

Having said that...any time an NFL team loses like this, it's on the coaches. First time this has happened to McVay - it felt like Fisher or Spags was out there.

Defense has been great all year. OL had a decent game considering how bad everything else was. WRs are good.

Goff and Gurley should not have been extended and it will be the downfall of this team. Spend the rest of this year trying to fix Goff and then cut all older players in tbe offseason and go young on defense. Try to load up on OL talent in FA.
