Wasn't this a bet where if you lost, it was 10 more years in upstate New York?
Okay, but I get to purchase a new home with an indoor pool!

Easy to pile on. I'll pass.
Funny how last year some of us dared to say he "wasn't elite" after 6 good games and we were the laughing stock of the board.
that being said.. way too much is being put on the offense.
The offense did enough to win the game... we gave up 48 pts on defense. and yeah the turn overs helped... but if you were watching the game - we couldn't stop them at all

AND a deluxe snow blower!Okay, but I get to purchase a new home with an indoor pool!
I mean, that shit is on him though. Bad play calling. And he is the head coach, so the defensive crap that didn't get fixed except for like one drive, also his fault. And the Rams play lights out on Thursday only to confuse the shit out of us as fans even more.
This was an ugly loss, I'm interested to see what McVay has to say about it. The usual "this one was on me" narrative isn't going to answer the avalanche of questions coming his way.
Without doubt, the defense was gravitational!I’ll pile on for you then
THE DEFENSE SUCKED
Yup, BUT 28 of those points came off turn-overs and all of them involved the 136 million dollar man.
Explain "regressing". You obviously listen to talking heads throw that term around. If YOU were watching the game you might have notice how we ran for a whole 28 yards. You might have noticed Havenstein getting beat like a drum. You might have noticed Whitworth getting penalized twice.Uhhh okay dude, sure thing! Throw away the stats, start watching games on TV because you're obviously listening to games on AM 710.
Knock yourself out. What does it change?I’ll pile on for you then

I meant the pick 6 that Goff threw. Or maybe the defender was down on the goaline. I can't remember. It was his second pick and it was an ugly one. I get it though. This was a team loss; but I'm not gonna convince myself that Goff would be much better "if only". I've been as big a Goff supporter as any which is why wiping the egg off of my face on other boards and to peers is gonna suck lol but the dude is a Fairweather QB. When things go right he's great. When his receivers aren't wide open or the pocket isn't pristine or when Mcvay doesn't call the absolute right call he falls apart. I'm really hoping I'm wrong but this loss has me thinking a little harder about expectations. Two open TD's were definitely on Goff. I said he wasn't perfect. And what pick 6? The one Peters returned?
To summarize this game as "Goff ain't it" is disregarding the fact that the dude had no run game, was hit on half of his drop backs, threw 68 times and was under siege all day. And our defense had seemingly no answer for anything the Bucs did.
When's the last time a team won by throwing the ball almost 70 times?
well, did Goff get pressured by a Dline all game that wasn't stopped by our Oline? I would say yes. We have Goff for several more years and we know that he isn't Kurt Warner, he needs mor help than Warner had. If we don't improve the Oline, Goff will look like garbage.Yup, BUT 28 of those points came off turn-overs and all of them involved the 136 million dollar man.
