Well, that was a mess.....Let's see how they respond because as a fan I only have a few days before Thursday Night.
Wasn't this a bet where if you lost, it was 10 more years in upstate New York?

As I've always said, he's a tweener.

Funny how last year some of us dared to say he "wasn't elite" after 6 good games and we were the laughing stock of the board.

that being said.. way too much is being put on the offense.

The offense did enough to win the game... we gave up 48 pts on defense. and yeah the turn overs helped... but if you were watching the game - we couldn't stop them at all

The most angering thing about this game is it feels like an extension of our play from the end of last season. Get your heads out your asses Rams.

A million false starts at home....WTH is that. It might be a NFL record! Hav is a freaking turn style, Brown missed blitz pickups, Whits holding...Kromer...step it up.

Jarred for the love of god, step up in the pocket and always have two hands on the ball! 9/10 times he fumbles its late in the play, one of the tackles is being beat, and he doesn’t step up and tries to throw. I’ve seen it for 2 years now. Haven’t the Rams addresses this?

MP, sure you got a pick 6, but your inability to play man coverage severely limits the abilities of this D!

This was bad on all phases, i mean for christ sakes GZ sent the opening kick outta bounds. He’s done that a few times this year.

What the hell happened to the Rams.

P.S. I miss Saffold a lot

I think Goff is scared to step up in the pocket because of how bad the interior o-line is. As a result, the edge rushers are feasting and Goff has fumbled in every game this season.

I'd much rather trade our 1st round pick. For one, we don't seem to ever use it anyway, always trading down. If we aren't going to pick 1st round talent anyway, we might as well ship it out to fill a hole on the roster. Moreover, our window to win is now, so I don't mind mortgaging the future a bit. More accurately. I think last year was our best hope, but sadly we didn't get the job done.

Even better than moving a 1st rounder would be moving Josh Reynolds. But I am not sure he is valuable enough on his own to net a very good o-lineman. Maybe packaged with a 2nd or 3rd round pick?

The o-line is not near good enough. Hate to say I saw this coming when they let Saffold walk. https://ramsondemand.com/threads/saffold-signs-with-tennessee.57700/page-9#post-1193155
I don’t think Reynolds has much trade value yet. I’d rather trade Cooks and see what Reynolds can do.

Here’s the problem. With our new OL, we can’t deal with that 6-1 defensive front.

McVay refuses to make teams pay with a TEs up the middle. Funny, the one time he did, we marched down the field.

On D, 10 yards down the middle is unguarded

I didn’t think we’d go undefeated. That’s not what this feels like.

It feels like both our O and D have been figured out.

We haven’t won a single line battle in any game. It’s awfully hard to win if you’re losing the OL and DL battle every week.

We’re going to see NOTHING but interior blitzes until we figure it out.

Yeah we weren't down 21 for most of the game. Next.

we were down by 21 to double digits most of the game...

Didn't get close until late when we were throwing it every play.

and we averaged 2.5 per rush...

Two open TD's were definitely on Goff. I said he wasn't perfect. And what pick 6? The one Peters returned?

To summarize this game as "Goff ain't it" is disregarding the fact that the dude had no run game, was hit on half of his drop backs, threw 68 times and was under siege all day. And our defense had seemingly no answer for anything the Bucs did.

When's the last time a team won by throwing the ball almost 70 times?
Not to mention that Goff threw for over 500 yards. Yes Goff had a bad day in that he did not take care of the ball but he kept getting up and slinging it.

Remember when we beat Favre in the playoffs? He threw 6 INTS. Bad games even happen to hall of famers.

Ok couple of things one I can't stand to hear another presser about putting player in better positions and it starts with me blah blah blah and especially the rb situation bullshit. If Gurley is crippled the new i don't give a a fuck put a functional back in there use multiple backs. Watch some patriots games with there 7 running backs I don't care what your paying him if he is hurt he should sit not have it hurt the rest of the team.

I completely agree with that assessment, thats where two hands on the ball and having a clock in your head come in handy. Goff hasn’t improved here since McVay took over. It needs to be addressed now, because the O-line isn’t just magically get better so the QB has to limit the damage and keep us competitive
