Now, I didn't get to watch the game. But were all 4 turnovers Goff's fault? Any tipped INT's. Strip sacks in 1.2 seconds? Granted 4 turnovers is a lot, but so is 40 points. Unless all 4 where pick 6's.
One - defender hits his arm as he throws (maybe he could have avoided defender better)
Two - bad pass right to TB player - returned to Rams 9 yard line (horrible read on his part)
Three - defender hits his arm on 4th down play - either way - an incompletion or interception puts that ball at TBs 20 or 25 yard line, respectively (this was insignificant as an interception imo)
Four - Havenstein completely blows block and Goff tries to get rid of ball but defender hits his arm for a fumble and gets returned for a touchdown with about a minute left in the game when the Rams were at the 50 yard line with 1 time out available (again maybe he could have avoided the defender better and thrown the ball away). Note - this was a 3rd and 8 so throwing it away would have made it 4th and 8. Note 2 - Kupp was held on 2nd and 8 and no PI was called and the review wouldn't overturn it.
So - three of the turnovers were primarily from defenders hits but maybe he could have avoided the defenders better and thrown the ball away
However - as noted on item 3 - it was 4th down so TB was going to get the ball either way
And as an addendum to item 3 - I call the turnover primarily on McVay for not getting the play in fast enough and Goff hurrying to the line and having the ball hiked at the 1 second mark. It was really a stupid play all in all. TB knew that Goff had to hike it right at that moment and came flying in and the offensive line was unable to get set properly.
