Ok, just some lame questions from a guy who hasn’t seen the game, but watched the thread

Question #1 if the OL is so bad, then how did TG average over 6 yards per carry.

Question #2 If TG had a 6 yard average, then why only 12 carries?

Question #3 Does McVay have enough patience to run when it’s working?

Observation: There is something we are not being told. I can’t believe McVay would be this stubborn/stupid, do you?
1. Ypc is a loaded stat. We saw that in Gurley's rookie year. He's have ten carries for 8 yards and then bust a 50 yard run. And just like that he's 9 carries for 58 yards. He was running well consistently today, but those 8 yard runs were mixed in with 2 yard stuffs. However....
2. I have no clue why we went to brown and Richardson when Gurley was clearly having his way.
3. No he doesn't. Running is a means to open passing lanes for Mcvay. That's it. The moment we get stuffed were going back to the pass.

I noticed Higbee playing a semi- fullback early in the first quarter and I thought McVay might have retooled the offense during the bye.

Nope.

After the first couple of drives he fell back into the same old boring playbook. You know.... mostly drop back passing with a little bit of running and no screens whatsoever.

How do you know when he isn’t getting the opportunity too. All I’m saying if you wanna put these questions to rest then you gotta “SHOW ME” he can’t handle the load
Dude .. the fact he isn’t getting them is showing you .. is it not ... why would (other than injury ) would he not get the previous carries he used to ?

Hope that Bobby Evans or Corbett step up. That's the best we can do. Edwards isn't ready to play RT. As much as I cursed out Havenstein, he's still the best we have. We have to hope he's okay.

The sad part is Hav is the best we have and he's a pedestrian OT who can only play the right side.

Jackie Slater ripping McVay a new one on the post game show lol
Good for Jackie! McVay deserves the heat. A lot of heat. He always talks about self evaluation and such management jargon. Well, it's looking obvious that he doesn't really walk the talk. His massive success right out of the gate I think has gone to his head. Mad Mike 2.0

Because McVay doesn't have to prove something to the armchair quaterbacks of the world, that he, the medical staff, Gurley and everyone who can make an obvious inference know.

If McVay has any courage, he needs to spend 5 to 10 minutes laying into this officiating crew. This wasn't just a bad reffed game. It was a bad reffed game that intentionally favored one side. Both of the Steelers' TDs were blown calls. They called a number of ticky tack DPIs and then ignored the blatant DPI on 4th down in the endzone. Their defender fumbled the interception on the fake punt, and we recovered. They stole our interception of Rudolph with one of the worst DPIs I've ever seen.

This was a screwjob. And the NFL League Office did nothing to stop it. For as much as I love NFL football, games like this make me consider never watching again.

Kept saying it last year. Outcomes are fixed, they are in cahoots with Vegas. Sports Entertainment baby!! Gotta love it.

Because that’s McVay MO all the way back from his time in Washington the guy doesn’t like to run he like to run the ball enough for the play action that’s it. Gurley just happened to bust a lot of those runs. You couple that with this terrible offensive line then you have this result a coach who doesn’t like to run the ball more than necessary to him pressing because of the oline

How many yards thru 12 carries would Gurley need to get to justify more carries? Because clearly 6 yards a carry isn’t enough for you. What if he had 90 yards after 12 carries? Would that warrant a 13th and 14th carry perhaps??

Hell if he was on a pitch count and his knee was a concern then. Don’t have him active for every damn game. Like Andy Reid did for McCoy. Don’t use him as a extra blocker

Refs were home cooking for the Steelers big time today but I won't blame them for losing to a 4-4 team with their backup QB and RB's.

The OLINE, McVay and Goff had another slow start in the first half and it seems that trend is going to be the case more often than not for the rest of the 2019 season.

Probably going to need an 11-5 record to have a crack at the playoffs and that means the Rams need to go 6-1 the remainder of the year.

It's going to feel like another bye week until the Bears game kicks off.

I trusted McVay, Kromer and Snead to know if the O-Line was good enough when the season started. Clearly they overrated the offensive line personnel and now they have egg on their faces.

But that’s the thing Gurley WAS getting the 20 - 25 touch games he was the work horse bell cow running back ..he was a reviving threat out the back field ... and I said originally most of it is on the o line .. but that doesn’t change the fact that something is up with Gurley .. and the only two scenarios I can think of is Gurley is done and physically can’t do it anymore or he caught Mcvay caught Gurley Fucking Veronica

If so then indeed McVay is an idiot for not establishing the run with Brown or Henderson.

So your obvious inference doesn’t make you a arm chair qb. Lol dude your wanna be slick ass references arent getting pass me. I wanted to ignore them cause you know I don’t like tryna censor someone’s opinion but hey that’s just me. I’m gonna always trust in what I see not what someone tells me and I rather live with those results from my own observations. Conformity just to conform is terrible bro.
