McVay is now giving me Mad Mike flashbacks. Martz was so enamored with his offense that he wouldn't make necessary adjustments because he believed it was going to work regardless if teams were making adjustments to stop it.

I said in another thread, McVay doesn't have a Plan B. He hasn't answered the what ifs. You have to be prepared for when things go sideways. He doesn't appear prepared. Neither does his team...

At this point he is trying to box while wearing handcuffs.
Partly on the FO partly bad luck.
Partly on McVay.
But you can only scheme so much.
Physical mismatches, over the course a game, are usually going to go a long way to deciding games. We saw that today.

The guy was brought here to turn Goff into a star as soon as the media was saying the offense goes through Gurley and not Goff then all of a sudden Gurley knee got leaked to the media lol. Yeah 25 touches is running and catching not rushing. And it wasn’t 1 or 2 games when McVay stopped running the ball it was all year long. You can’t tell me that you can keep him out to block and not let him rush that don’t make sense and it don’t pass the smell test cause if he was on a pitch count then he shouldn’t be out there blocking 30 plays a game

Hate to say this, but our receivers, Gurley, Brown etc. are tasked with a lot of blocking, and are really good at it. Makes our OL look even worse....

McVay has gotten away from the run game every year he’s been here. Go back and watch the Falcons playoff loss and tell me that’s not McVay abandoning the run until it was too late. And now he’s using Gurley’s knee as an excuse for poor play calling. It’s pathetic.

He isn’t using the knee as an excuse .... according to him and the rams and Gurley himself tag is 100% which to me he clearly isn’t

I know the O-line is bad but did the assistants mcvay had the last couple years have more to do with the teams successs than we thought? Seems like mcvay is 'zeroed in' and needs help calling some f'ing plays...

You know how many teams we was blowing out then and the chiefs was blowing out. If you only wanna go off numbers and not watch what actually transpired in the games then that’s on you. He should have been top 2 in rushing and that first year McVay came Goff clearly wasn’t ready to lead the team that’s why he Had to lean on Gurley

Even though Goff has made bad decisions at times I am not convinced he isn't a championship caliber QB. It still is only his 4th season. Peyton Manning did not win a championship until his 10th season.

Goff is NOT the issue.
