Lmao bro that was unexpected. But I’m not saying it’s not a factor I just don’t think it’s that big of a factor because Gurley himself said he’s been playing on it all this time and it hasn’t stopped anything. Yeah he might have flare ups but those flare ups are gonna happen after games and might last a day or two so why not hold him out of practices it’s more that can be done then just limiting his touches on Gameday
Look it’s 2am Morning I’m as mad as the rest of ya and I’m proud of my reasoning lol
It’ll look bad all round when they just give Todd a massive contract and turns out he is done .. Todd probably doesn’t want to rock the boat because his emdorsments
He gets from Being in La and I don’t blame one little bit make as much green as ya can Todd .. mcvay and the rams don’t wanna look like idiots flashing around the contracts to cooks and Gurley (concussions and knee ) .. so they carry on fight through pretend everything is ok on the good ship rams and get out of bad contracts as soon as they can

do I hope gurley makes me eat crow either this year or next abdo-fucking-lutely .. will I hide if you throw the I told so you so’s in my face .. hell no I’ll start a ukram was wrong about Gurleythread but ultimately and sadly I don’t think i will be (even though I’ve never wanted to be more wrong about something in my life .. other than the the Veronica thing maybe)

Then why start him? If you are correct then Snead and McVay are covering their butts,

Because Gurley (as you saw today) still has some productivity up the gut on runs. He also knows the offense in and out and his a their best pass protector.

Kept saying it last year. Outcomes are fixed, they are in cahoots with Vegas. Sports Entertainment baby!! Gotta love it.
Therefore none of our BS observations have any use. You said it, I’ve thought it and its real. Its all a fix follow the greens...

My point is Gurley would be effective if the Rams ran the ball. They don't. A 17-12 game and we threw the ball 42 times vs 21 runs. This is not about Gurley when you have Brown who averaged 4.6 yards last year and a hot shot rookie in Henderson. This is classic abandoning the run. This is something everyone should agree on.

That’s exactly what happening dude
Then you believe Snead and McVay are idiots because they are willfully fielding a team less likely to win rather than admitting one mistake. I do not believe they are that dumb.

This hurts. the Steelers are one of the teams i despise most, just after the 9rs and seahags. But I have to admit Pitt has a good defense (but I still despise them). The Rams did not stop battling, they hung in there even with the terrible officiating (not to mention the terrible TV announcing team who really sucked (the Steelers c0cks). Lots to be upset about (like the ability of the offensive line to give Goff more than 3 seconds to make a play) but we still have at least 7 games remaining this year and maybe we can right this ship yet.

Thing that sucks about this game is we could have easily won it because our defense gave our offense so MANY opportunities to take the lead. Our defense played a helluva game. They only scored 10 points on offense that should be good enough to win 95% of the time.

So it's not all bad news our defense is playing to dominate. I know everyone is claiming it's over for the rams and maybe it is but we aren't a bad team. We are competitive in every game we've played this year. Even the SF game we were in it until the 4th.

The thing that really makes me scratch my head is McVays inability to adjust his playcalling. He did on one drive (the only scoring drive we had) and that's the only time we effectively moved the ball. And then he moved completely away from it. No roll outs, no 3 step drops, quick slants or option routes, we even didn't run any misdirection plays. I think a couple of you hit it on the head pointing out maybe his assistants helped more than we know. I honestly think what mcVay needs is someone to reel him in when he let's the emotion of the game get the better of him. And I think that's exactly what we're seeing.
Anyone have Jay Grudens #? Lol

Obvious issues are well... obvious. Offense line is playing really poorly. Obviously we have some guys on the team that should be backups. Allen getting hurt won't hurt us as bad as some of you might think. I also think Blythe is better suited to play Center than Gaurd but obviously we'll have to wait and see.
Goff also has to see the field better than he has. From my POV hes obviously forcing it and hes way out of rythum but he has to pick it up.
We've seen lots of good qbs have bad seasons or down seasons and this is no different. Now it's up to him to show that hes worthy of a #1 pick and mcvay needs to put him in the best position to succeed.

From this point on mcvay needs to change up his game plan and have one of his "assistants " keep him on track.

The season isn't over guys but at this point we shouldn't be worried about playoffs we should be worried about righting the ship on offense.

Well you say its obvious because his touches are down. Yet in this game ALL rb touches were down. What seems obvious to me is that McVay is channelling Martz. Every game he abandons the run./ This affects all RBS not just Gurley. And I have seen nothing in Gurleys play that warrants this.

Do me favour if you can go back and watch some games from last year and key in on Gurley how he ran be it a a 3-30 yarder .. and again go back and watch some of the games from early this year

there’s virtually no celebrating a TD no “ball drop” after a first down no power no passion and tell me woth a straight face he is the same player from last year
