Bad matchup

Pitt front 7 vs Ram Oline

I’m pissed about Gurley’s usage and I put that on McVay.

McVay has leadership out the wazoo but he is not adjusting his offense to suit his personnel and how teams are choosing to play the Rams.

And now the OLine is busted...

You know- last year's team "applied the pressure" and didn't let bad calls sink us. This was a close game. I hate how the game was officiated, sure. But all the bad calls were extremely close. As in "stick with the call on the field" close. Watching this game was like experiencing a bunch of bad beats in poker, and then grinding your way back into it. I thought after the safety we might win this. Tomlin has some big balls. Going for it on their end of the field was huge for them. Not getting the pass interference call in the end zone at the end sucked-- Not consistent with how the rest of the game was called. Weird game.

Man I hated seeing us let Rodger Saffold go. The offensive line just isn't going to hold up to the tougher defenses this year. 5-4 team. That's what we look like too.

Oh well. I remember the days where all I wanted was for the Rams to win more than they lose. 9-7 type of year will actually be a remarkable feat with this O'line. I hope Goff doesn't get hurt this year.

Lot of games left. I just want to see the O'line show signs of improvement.

Go Rams!

I don’t think that was a PI.
Didn’t pull his arms or hook his arms.
A lot of bad calls or missed calls today, don’t think that was one.
Agree to disagree. He was hindered from being able to go after the ball. Dont have to pull or hook, they stopped him from being able to go after the ball. Just my opinion.

I have to agree mcvay dosnt look that great of a coach.Bad playcalling every week and not running the ball more.I thought he would be our coach for many many years but I'm kind of hoping we go looking elsewhere.

This is pure comedy.

Dude with 2 division titles and a super bowl appearance in YEAR 2

And we are 5-4 atm...

Give me a fucking break bro.

Its like I’ve been watching the superbowl on repeat this season...

Gurley had 12 attempts for 73 yards. A 6.1 yard average. He led us to our only offensive (I mean Spacial Teams) points of the day! Guess what his final stat line was?

Thats right, 12 for 73!

We score that FG with 14 seconds left in the 3rd quarter. What the hell is that. If your saving him for the playoffs, you gotta use him in games that may leave you on the outside looking in too! If he’s finished, then he’s finished, quit leading us on! If there’s something else, get the hell over it and put TG in the game!

The solution was right in front of McVays face! Goff needs some pressure off of him, run the ball (play action after!). Defense needs some rest, run the ball! Offense needs to move the rock, RUN THE BALL!!!!
Yep been saying that for two years now McVay is a QB coach he don’t know how to effectively stay with the run game

Lmao you choose this game to continue to with that nonsense the problem isn’t Gurley it’s the offensive line and McVay
I haven’t choose any game game to continue with anything ...it’s as plain as day that something is off with Gurley

Please tell me why with any sound reasoning mcvay would hold back a supposedly 100% Gurley .. the best back
In the league IMO ... a bell cow a TD machine ... and don’t use hyperboles like he thinks he is smarter than anyone else or he got a dose of the Martzs

You can chalk up like 80% of the losses during the McVay era to him getting away from the run game. Seriously, the front office should stage an intervention.

Never saw Gurley again after he was averaging over 7 yards per carry. Doesn't make any sense. Don't understand why they continue to be shady about what's wrong with him. Just makes them look dumb. Especially when we are struggling so bad. Ramsey is a great player but it sure seems like upgrading the o-line would have made a lot more sense. Goff doesn't help anything either. Can't believe we paid him so much money. I'm guessing we are stick with him regardless of performance.

I'm getting to the point where I don't care about this season anymore. Kind of just want it to be over

Because McVay have a track record of doing exactly that. He abandons the run game out scheme himself it’s a terrible habit of his

Agree. My buddy was at the game and he's a Steelers fan and he said the refs screwed the Rams.

That said. This OL is arguably worse than it was before McVay came on board.

Whitworth is gonna retire. Havenstein is a liability in pass pro. And the interior is the worst its been in memory. At least we used to have Saffold. We got garbage inside now.

So how do they fix this garbage in the off season cause this year is over.

Hope that Bobby Evans or Corbett step up. That's the best we can do. Edwards isn't ready to play RT. As much as I cursed out Havenstein, he's still the best we have. We have to hope he's okay.

Yeah - Gurley clearly is on a pitch count. A dude doesn't go from a 300 touch 20 td plus workhorse to a 12-15 carry guy just on a whim.

Just fucking stop and use logic for a moment.

Ram defense looked playoff calibre ready. Could not ask for a better effort

Ram offense, yet again, gets roughly handled by a top flight defense and nearly shut out.

3 points in the SB against NE.

7 points against SF earlier this year.

3 points today against what had been a mid level Pitt defense.

These Fisher like offensive performances are becoming more and more common.

Well, we can write off Henderson
4 carries, 4 yards

And didn’t look “explosive”
