Thats why I posted a separate thread about possibly trading either Ramsey or Donald or both to recoup picks. But was shot down by the masses who would rather see superstsr players racking up individual accolades rather than fixing our team overall. I get it. There is risk but if you just sit on your hands and do nothing then next year and the year after has the potential to be even worse than this one. We need to fix the Oline and running game first. Then the front 7 on D

With rapp over the top, shouldn't ramsey be in press coverage????? But he just let's Sanders run by him on purpose it seems. Wtf???????

For similar matador coverage, they could pay me significantly less than what Ramsey is going to want.

1. My apologies @Ellard for directly calling you out on your post. While I disagreed with your point I shouldn't have directly called it out and made an accusation. Once I reread my reply, I realized I sounded like an Ahole. No exuse, the game really pissed me off and I shouldn't have vented directly at you or anyone.

2. Regarding the pass protection, From my perspective - the heavy use of rollouts started in the Cardinals game, this is when we saw the resurgence of offensive firepower. Before that was the Steelers Bears and Ravens games in which we averaged 12ppg and Goff was having massive pressure in his face. Before those games we had the Falcons and Bengals in which Goff did have some nice time in the pocket, but those two teams have bad defenses and close to no pass rush. So, good pass protection in those games, but not because of a great oline in my book, which was my main point. The Oline is not good enough and must be upgraded.

I get it, the dude acts like a roided up body builder when his defense makes a stop and apparently coaches his entire defense to scream “LET’S GO!!!!!” every time they make a play. But what warrants showing him every single time that defense is on the field?

I saw that. But besides that. I am over the bitching and moaning about this teams performance. We know this team laid a rotten egg. We should of been in a better situation but unfortunately we couldn’t be as good. We stunk whatever wait til next season. Just hope we get a competent OC. McVay can’t do it all.

It sucks to lose another winnable game. Put this, Seattle #1, and Pitt in a bag, shake them up, and last year we win 2 out of 3 minimum given the same going in to the 4th.

Overall, we played better than I expected. Two HUGE mistakes were the difference. But when things get down to pipe dreams, I don't really blame Goff or Rapp for trying to make things happen.

If the Vikings win, any venting here - for anything other than the season itself - will be moot anyway.

I don't think Rapp blowing a coverage makes Jimmy clutch. It makes him lucky.

Mistakes are made on both sides and both rosters get paid to win. C'mon Jrry32, there is no way you think Jimmy G. should have converted two 3rd and 17 plays in the 4th quarter, on the same drive at the very end of the game to win. FEW QB's could do that and no one could blame a QB that failed to do that. It's almost too much to excpect, and yet he did it. I hate the Niners and Kimmy G as much as anyone, but that win was legit.

I live on the east coast so when Goff threw the pick six with 50 seconds left in the first half I went to bed and hoped I would be surprised when I got on this board in the morning. Of course, there was no surprise except for the game ending as close as it did. My feeling was McVay cost them this game because of the way he is using his RBs. Let Gurley stay in the game and get in a rhythm don't keep taking him out for Henderson and Brown who never do anything anyway.
