You are simply brushing over the fact I said it was weak for that last drive. The defense did more than enough all game long, but for the end of the game situation, it was a terrible scheme to run. You can't honestly say that last series was good schematically. I get it, the offense sucks, but the defense still had a chance to win it at the end and they choked. I hope you also realize that I've said that the offense deserves way more blame more than once.

But dude I'd agree with you if maybe the score 24- 20 and we had some drives in there givi.g the defense a breather but we literally had 342 3 and outs and they still did there job you need to call one play. You know what you almost got cooper killed last week for no reason just fuck call a bootleg or a QB draw let Stafford run surprise someone but it was just weak and I sympathize with him over his loss but then give the play calling to someone who didn't have a death I'm the family. Honestly it's a diservice to himself and the team and now the defense gets mocked.

That may cause more divisiveness as if they feel they shouldn't of been out there they are obviously calling out the offense.

Either way just keep in mind, I most definitely blame the offense much more than the defense. I just simply didn't like how our defense rolled over on that last drive. I get their frustration saying they shouldn't be out there, but they were regardless of what coulda shoulda happened. McVay definitely deserves a shit ton of blame, like 99% lol. Regardless, this loss hurts like a motherfucker.

The TD drive even though it was a big play was like 4 minutes and one fg drive was 3 minutes.

Dude look around my other posts on this game. I have given absolutely no quarter to McVay or the offense for their shit performance in this game, starting with the inexplicable decision to keep putting Evans out there to endanger his prize QB.

But it’s not either/or, and I’m simply not going to pretend Morris did a good job with the D in that last drive no matter how bad the O played because we had they lead, they had no timeouts, and they needed to go 60 yards for a TD. Bad offense is not an excuse for Morris to shit the bed in that situation.

The chances of winning any NFL game with 13 pts are minimal at best. Had the offense score even league average or close to it then we in a victory thread. A lot of things need to be changed yes even on the defense but this loss does not and should not remotely hung on the defense.

Another scenario say there is 5 minutes left after that touchdown and we gave up the 16 what then if we don’t score? Or what if we had the 9 and they had the 13 and we lose is that the defenses fault to for giving up 13? We had every chance to put them away thanks to the defense they squandered all of them. Then when the defense basically seems fed up it’s there fault.

And that my friend is the real crux of the matter for all of us. We are frustrated angry mad a shit week ahead and having to hear how great Brady is when in essence he looked ordinary and that’s an overstatement. We all angry want blood and looking to pin it everywhere and anywhere that I understand.

To me I’ve said like 4 times now it’s concerning that players didn’t want or could put forth the effort for their coach after a tough family loss basically his idol might be indicative that they really aren’t buying what he selling anymore. I honestly don’t know. Some times we may want McKay here 10 years but we all know that there are times where good coaches are let go for no other reason then the team isn’t responding to them and that would be a travesty.

Yeah unfortunately we have progressed to extreme echo chambers where one side blames the offense only, while the other blames the defense only. Both are wrong.

The defense put out a textbook example of how NOT to two-minute defend. The offense played like a steaming pile of excrement.

The offense should have been better and put the defense in the position of having to carry their sorry asses because they were stinking up the joint. Agreed. Both had a chance to win the game and failed terribly. Offense could not get one first down and the defense failed to defend with 44 seconds left and 0 timeouts for the bucs at around their 30. Not to mention the possession before.

Blaming one side exclusively to protect the other is very transparently bias.
