Durant also whiffed on Fournette that put them in field goal range...

not a good day for that dude.

Agreed again what would be the solution? Another play caller? Resign? Fire? Nowhere to really go besides call a better play lol. I understand though thats why I asked.
He keeps saying he's part of what needs to change. Turn over play calling to Coen, double benefit we see what he's got, and be the team manager. Run the whole team not just the offense. And for crying out loud cut Bobby Evans.

Pathetic excuse for a defending SB champion. I see 2 guys giving it all. Kupp and Donald
The rest are going through the motions. Too much retirement talk and not enough heart. Sickening to watch. Almost reminds me of the Linehan and Spags days. That’s sad.

I have always liked and respected Coach McVay and I feel like a TRAITOR saying anything negative about him BUT this is NOT the same Coach that has coached the Rams the past few seasons!

If we had Big Whit and Corbett out there instead of Evans and Brewer, I think this O would look totally different.

Heck, even Anchrum and Shelton would be a massive improvement.

But when both starting guards are massive liabilities, clearly the O suffers.

IMHO McVay didn't magically stop being a great coach. He just can't overcome this many injuries to the OL.

I 100% agree with you on this point.

Ramsey and Wagner seem to be playing hard too.

The offense is awful, especially the short game. The OL injuries started it, but it’s been a hindered unit for 8 weeks now. McV has not adjusted his attack philosophy very much. It’s still just 11 personnel, chunk play chasing.

He’s had weeks including a bye week to use his personnel differently and find ways to mask the deficiencies.

IMO there’s no excuse with this roster that we can’t get 4 yards fairly regularly, even with injuries up front. Use the multiple TE sets , use the backs in short passing game etc. This isn’t a 30ppg offense right now so stop calling plays and packages that we can’t execute.

I would add Ramsey to that. He's giving his all, but playing the cracked soft shell D.

He can't help that he could have won this game if he could catch. Still wondering how he made that high-point interception to get us the win a few weeks back...

If the Rams make 1 first down, a single god damned first down, in any of their 3 fourth quarter drives, they win the game easily
McVay has checked out, there is no direction on this team

Im not sure I'm ready for that but I would like him to get more input he may very well be losing his players on offense. Kupps comment was kind of weird but probably looking to deep as I'm still livid. Also stop with the fg when you know your offense sucks on the 10 I don't care just call a fade to ARob 4 straight plays lol. Week in week out I see everyone run that play perfectly and it works for them we though call it once I'm a blue moon and it either works or once it's not executed properly 1 time we never see it again. Hence ARob being misused.

I just want McVay to let his OC take charge already. I also would like to see a game where Morris can continue to play the Defense the way he wants to without constantly having to change it because of other shortcomings. It is a team effort at the end of the day.

One thing I noticed were the eyes of Aaron Donald on the sideline. He never quits on the field, but he looked sad watching the shyte show this year. He can't control Bobby Evans being a turnstyle. He can't control how soft our corners play the opposing WR's. I wonder if he feels like it's 2015 all over again....

There you have it. Now had we added an edge and possibly given this crap offense an extra possession or two maybe more points yes even fgs. Some people seem to think the defense is a bunch of robots that can just keep going out there and stop stop stop but they are not and can't be on the field all day. They did their job on that 4th down game over. That's what I'm burning about. I can't ever be mad at Kupp he is just amazing however we have seen him fight for yardage at times where we hold out breath and scream just get down that slide was very Mcvayish in the way that while smart it was overthinking it. It was pivotal maybe no first but at least another 2 yds.
