Jack Carter from my hometown of San Jose, CA will be a guy to root for. The Rams always need depth/development players in the trenches. They don’t spend a lot of prime draft picks on “ready to go” OL.

He could very well be a backup guard/center coming out of camp.
Practice squad or 53, either way, Good Luck!!
I assume you mean Jack Snyder and I concur, Snyder is already listed as the 3rd string Center and that's where I see him developing. Actually has played all 5 positions along the Offensive Line.

Oops! That’s embarrassing.
Yes, I meant Snyder.
Maybe he ends up being right where the Rams could use somebody—an IOL swing guy. Developing into THAT guy doesn’t seem so far fetched to me.
Do you like the chances him of branching out to guard?

i actually like him at Center. He does have the ability to play both Guard & Center so maybe he can be a swing guy like Coleman Shelton has turned into.

I think he’s got a lot of potential to stick and even contribute based on highlights and draft analysis.

Of course, how else do you double there wage to signing a UDRFA contract over other teams.

It’s called innovation
I suppose that's possible. If the Rams can find a loophole, they're going to do it.

Per Jourdan Rodrigue and other sources (not Connor Hox) Rams released UDFA interior-DL Dion Novil.

I didn't see anything on this guy on ROD.
It must have been a UDFA the Rams had an eye on signing.
Kind of explains why we left a few openings on our 90 man roster.

Ferguson is going to be a big part of what we do this season but could Willie Lampkin potentially revolutionise our offense?

Look at the stats below. If we enployed Lampkin as an extra blocker to give Stafford more time the results could and should be deadly

Sixth offensive lineman

i

Alec Anderson, Buffalo Bills

Some teams bring extra offensive linemen onto the field in short-yardage and goal-line situations, hoping to use the added bulk to generate more movement at the line of scrimmage. Over the past couple of years, though, the Bills have used the sixth offensive lineman tactic as something close to a core offensive concept.

Offensive coordinator Joe Brady utilized six linemen 93 times on first-and-10 last season, more than twice as often as any other offense. The league's other 31 teams did that an average of just over 10 times on first-and-10 in 2024. And while the Bills went with six linemen to help their run game, the extra lineman also forced teams into the same bind we've seen defenses struggle with against multi-TE groupings. Play nickel and dime sub packages versus a six-lineman set and the Bills will run it. Play base defense and the Bills were happy to throw; Josh Allen averaged 9.4 yards per attempt out of those six-lineman groupings last season, up nearly two full yards from his mark with five linemen on the field (7.6).

Dicker was brought in as a punter only cannot believe he wasn’t drafted and he was with us a year too early.
Yeah - The Rams have been amazing with findings Kickers & Punters.

He went to Philly first after The Rams which made him a year to late for them.Basically cost the Chargers a playoff spot & Staley his job.

Call me a little crazy - lol,but once again you heard it here first. Then again it’s more realistic how he is being implemented.

For 1 going outside the box. A Ling snapper.

#2 he is already practicing as a center long snapping in shotgun situations.
