Oh and for what little it's worth I think McLeod should be safe. Cody Davis on the other hand better not get too comfortable.
I was unaware until jjab360 informed me that we had picked up his 5th year option when I wrote that. That's what happens when you go to Jamaica on vacation and you're out of the loop for a week.hotanez asking the question we'd all like an answer too:
Why next season? He signed for 2016
I think there's a slot at both cb and wr. McGhee hasn't impressed at all. And Brian Quicks shoulder is a major concern.
Hopefully someone can prove me wrong and provide with some good news on Quicks shoulder in case I missed it.
Quick has been said to be doing well in his rehab. May participate on a "protected" basis in the upcoming OTAs. He is expected to be ready by training camp.
Jamaica! I'm so f'ing jealous.I was unaware until jjab360 informed me that we had picked up his 5th year option when I wrote that. That's what happens when you go to Jamaica on vacation and you're out of the loop for a week.
There still might be an opening but it's going to be tough to make it.
Very enjoyable until my daughter and I got that rash from the excess Chlorine in the pool. I'd go again but while it's a very close call, my wife and daughter both like mexico better. They're both pretty much equal in my mind but my wife has control of all vacations so I know where we'll be going next year.hotanez wishing on a star:

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/05/03/10-defensive-udfas-to-like/Louis Trinca-Pasat, DI, Iowa, St. Louis Rams
The “other” Iowa defensive tackle in this draft class next to the highly-rated Carl Davis, Louis Trinca-Pasat outshone his teammate at times in 2014. 41 total pressures from 347 pass rushing snaps gave him a Pass Rushing Productivity Rating of 9.2, the fourth-best mark in this class, and just two spots behind Davis. His best performance came against Northwestern, where he registered three sacks, a hit and two hurries, and while he will face an uphill battle to make the Rams roster, if he can perform like that his chances will greatly improve.

Rams adding undrafted rookies
• By Jim Thomas
http://www.stltoday.com/sports/foot...cle_dc3b0e64-fa99-5ac8-ad4d-99bb67f238dc.html
Rookie free agents, the so-called "eighth round" of the draft, shouldn't be overlooked in terms of roster building. The Rams have done very well in this area under general manager Les Snead and coach Jeff Fisher over the past three years.
For example, Pro Bowl punter Johnny Hekker, starting free safety Rodney McLeod, and core special teams player Daren Bates all joined the Rams as rookie free agents.
The Rams had 73 players either under contract or drafted this weekend as of Saturday night, so they only needed to sign maybe 15 rookie free agents to approach the 90-man offseason roster limit. That assumes they keep a couple of roster spots open to sign veteran free agents.
Here's a preliminary list of undrafted rookies who have signed or agreed to terms with the Rams since the draft ended:
RB Malcolm Brown, Texas
CB Imoan Claiborne, Northwestern State
S Jacob Hagen, Liberty
S Jay Hughes, MississippiState
RB Terrence Franks, TexasState
FB Zach Laskey, Georgia Tech
WR Bradley Marquez, Texas Tech
WR Tyler Slavin, New MexicoHighlands
DT Louis Trinca-Pasat, Iowa
OT Darrell Williams, South Florida
.
I'm actually looking forward to seeing what Christian Bryant has to offer. Alot of good things said about him a year ago. Is he still on the roster?
.
We actually drafted him knowing he wouldn't be able to play last year. The Rams basically red shirted him and hopes he can contribute this year.

One guy I think the rams should pursue is Darrian Miller OT/G Kentucky. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/darrian-miller?id=2552337

Ain't it the truth. that's kind of counter intuitive when you consider that with the NFL becoming more of a passing league every year the need for SSs has decreased while the need for FSs has increased.Dog seeing potential:
Love this Player......
I can confirm the Buffalo Bills scouts were at Liberty (Jacob Hagen) and Lafayette (Ross Schuerman) pro day

Draft Projection: 5th round
Some will see this as being a little optimistic but the NFL seriously lacks high quality free safeties. Hagen offers a team a hard-working, good character player who can make an impact on both special teams and nickel-packages immediately.
The future is unclear for Hagen, as he’ll have to work extremely hard. However, he has the raw skill set and with the right coaching, he could be a viable starter in this league.
