Having said that, never liked the pick. Feel like it was a major reach to get Desean Jackson lite into the building. DJax had that dog mentality on the field that made his diminutive size a non-issue.
My sense was that Atwell came in and needed a kick in the ass competitively. I remember McVay early on directly commenting publicly that he was “looking for a sense of urgency “ from Tutu. Ouch.

Tutu never really fit in with what the Rams expect from their receivers however I will say I prefer him over Tavon. It will be interesting to see what Whittington and Mumpfield can do with more snaps. Finally, I think we all know that the Rams are going to take a WR early in this draft.
Bummed that we could never really make it work out. He played pretty great at the start of the 2024 season when we needed him. Since then, barely any play time. I'll never forget the catch against the Colts last season that won us the game. Happened to be at the game with my son (who's favorite player is Tutu) and its a fond memory none of us will soon forget.
