I would want a 5th... and we give back a 6th. At least it gets you up in the 150's. We don't need another pick in the 190's.
In his defense, Snead loves those 6th picks. Rumor is anytime he hears he can aquire one, he's like...

Why do we want another WR again?

We have 2 1s, we are running this 13 personnel down peoples throats, and we still have a capable rest of the WR room with quality guys.

I’m always interested in getting better - especially when the window is open like it is right now - but I’m not seeing the tight end or WR angle.

Maybe another dangerous situational piece on the defense ….
I'm not seeing a lot openings for impact on defense. What kind of situational piece do you have in mind?

Wonder if Raiders would be willing to move Jackson Powers-Johnson. Think he could upgrade our C position and give us depth at guard too.
I don't want to be an Avila and Shelton apologist (the weak links) this season but maybe we should let the whole healthy line play together for a few games after just getting Hav back and having Avila out for a few games.

Also, I'm not big changing the guy who snaps the ball to our QB midseason with as decently as the offensive line is playing in pass pro.

I'd do it as a waiting-in-the-wings/life-after-Shelton deal. I don't think the Raiders would be remotely interested; he was their second-round pick last year.

True I almost added that McVay may not want a new center that has to come in and learn mid year all the call/plays, etc.

Maybe a cheaper depth piece with potential may fit the bill better with eyes on them competing for a spot next year. If they do decide to add any depth/pieces to the oline group.

FWIW, PFF had Coleman as the best OL vs the Saints. 80 run blocking, 72 pass blocking. Next best were Dotson 67/82 and Parkinson at 68/78.
Avila was lowest at 68/32 (!!!).

I have no problem with Coleman. But if an unhappy stud center suddenly became available? Just dreaming I guess.

I think we still have some work to do on the OL. It probably or should I say certainly wont be addressed until the offseason. Avila will need a thorough evaluation come contract time, I think we can upgrade there for what it would cost resign him.
Shelton and Havs are quite possibly nearing the end of their tenures as well.
