If McVay thinks the kicking game is largely down to Karty and not the coaching (even if that's just in his head and he has long-term potential), I'd give a 3rd for Folk.

I know some will think that's ridiculous, but it has more potential to win or lose us a Super Bowl than literally any other player we could realistically trade for. PERIOD.

And if I say PERIOD in caps like that, it means it's true. It's one step up from saying FACT!

Having said all that, if SM thinks he has buffoons coaching Karty, then there's little point, and I'll skulk off to lick my wounds and any other part of me I think needs licking.

The problem here is that if the kicking is even partially due to coaching then making personnel changes with the coaching still in place is spinning your wheels.

It seems like most trade deadline deals are guys on expiring contracts - rentals. Does it really make sense to invest not just draft capital but also time and practice reps getting someone new in sync with the offense just in case he gets hurt again? I mean - if there is a deal for a guy we view as a permanent piece out there - I get it. I’m just not sure that guy is out there.

Why,
Cap relief?

We have been in 13 a lot and 1 guy goes down and that is no longer available. Park has been very good it would have to be for cap reasons and comes at a risk

I mean if it helps financially I guess
