"overpaid"? not so sure, jrry -- he not only fits a "position of need" at CB, but he's the exact type of CB the Rams need to help take the D to the next level. Because our rush is so good, QBs take lots of shorter throws to WRs, TEs & RBs -- and it killed us last year. Enter McDuffie, an All-Pro CB / Star who excels in the slot role. I've been table pounding for a speedy "coverage" ILB in the draft, but McDuffie helps solve that problem. (still think we need one tho lol)I'm disappointed. We overpaid. #29 for McDuffie straight up felt iffy but fair enough to me. Throwing in all the additional picks does not sit well with me. But I guess the good news is we addressed a major need.
I hate when people like you use big ass fancy words......da fuck does belly-aching mean?![]()
The Rams still got to beef up the CB depth.Rams and Seahawks were tied at the top with Superbowl 61 odds. That was before the trade. Now the Rams stand alone as favorites to win the next Superbowl.

Rams Super Bowl Odds: LA Jumps Seahawks as Favorites After Trent McDuffie Trade
The NFL doesn't sleep! A blockbuster trade has been made today as the Los Angeles Rams has traded for All-Pro cornerback, Trent McDuffie, from the Kansas City Cwww.si.com
I love the move. But Snead always overpays for acquisitions and gets too little in return for his own players. The day he fleeces a team in a trade I'll be shocked and overjoyed.See someone gets what I was saying about Snead and his trading. Not that I don't like the player, the trade, just not a fan of how he offers too much. Chiefs were smart to extract that 3rd from us. That's the only part I'm not a fan of. However with all that said, it doesn't matter lol..... Welcome to the Rams McDuffie! You better ball out for us!
Does this mean Delane is likely gone at 9 to the Chiefs?
Luckily for you the Rams can't help themselves and draft one every year.

This is an interesting conversation post trade, since the Rams are still sitting at #13 only four picks behind them.Does this mean Delane is likely gone at 9 to the Chiefs?
We also don't know if there was a other team making an offer for McDuffie
Staying on track for Love makes the most sense IMO. Can still get a CB at 29 and can even trade up from there if they want or trade up from either spot I guess. This is an interesting conversation post trade, since the Rams are still sitting at #13 only four picks behind them.
Chiefs needs and strategy pivoting? Many mocks had them taking Love the RB.
Yeah a couple tweets have been posted since I said that. Sounds like the Giants didn't want to give a 1st round equivalent. They obviously weren't going to trade #5 but a 2nd plus must have been to much for Harbaugh.Giants were in on him apparently
