Why that would make a difference I have no idea but I'll give you that one for free.Everett's was in the playoffs. Did Manning ever do that in the playoffs?
Honest question.

But that didn't apply to his QBsBruce and Holt were instructed to not take unnecessary hits by the coaches, especially Martz. Remember it being a talking point on some of the local St. Louis broadcast news at one point from either Steve Savard or Mike Bush. Remember them interviewing Martz and him talking about wanting his skill guys to live to see another day and be available more than getting an extra yard or two.
In the regular season, I can expect the QB to want to keep healthy from time to time. Why that would make a difference I have no idea but I'll give you that one for free.
This too!!I agree with Tano and I might be mistaken but while Manning did it to protect himself from a big hit, Everett was from a ghost sack. Big difference in my opinion.

Yes, he did. His team was losing in the 4th quarter at the time too. Fortunately for him, the refs didn't blow the play dead. So he got back up and completed a long pass. The kind of bullshit that other QBs wouldn't have gotten away with.Everett's was in the playoffs. Did Manning ever do that in the playoffs?
