Rams do have four other RT prospects lurking currently on the roster like Bobby Evans, David Edwards, Chandler Brewer or even Joseph Noteboom.Well, we had better production out of Evans last year so why not trade Havenstein and, (especially unload) his contract?
The fall off was noticeable with Havenstein.
And now we have Edwards used to lining up next to Evans and both on rookie contracts.
If we could get a fourth round draft pick for him and unload his contract that seems like a win-win.
Does RT Rob Havenstein still retain enough value to some NFL teams after his disastrous 2019 season performance to be worth trading away? Rams just paid Rob Havenstein his 2020 Roster Bonus of $3.75M in guarantees.
What would the Rams possibly get in return other than salary cap relief? 5th rounder or a 7 rd pick? I think its more likely Rob will end up being involved on Friday evening (2nd day of NFL draft) as Snead draft ammo fodder for a trade up.
Rams are in the hot seat now squirming around to dig & beg a way to pay Brockers/Robinson & Floyd. Problem is there is no ex large sizeable cap relief just moderate relief to be gotten if Rob is traded. OTC say's $5.4 savings & $2.4 dead $$$.

Spotrac says something different saying if the Rams trade Rob there would be a 2020 Dead Cap hit of $6.15 million & only a 2020 Cap Savings of $1.65 million.alm:
