I think what makes series like our last one so frustrating is that when McVay is on he's an amazing coach. What would we have given back in the '90s and most of the '00s to have four straight winning seasons? He can be so good, and then occasionally call a WTF series. It wouldn't seem so bad if you didn't know how good his play calling could be.

That tendency to abandon the run is what bothers me most, and what seems a lack of ability to see/change it.

Real gut check time on this series, and you have to wonder why Stafford looks so different from games 1-3.
