Would anyone tell me why the Eagles would sign these two QB's, and move up to draft a Wentz/Goff? Why is Cleveland grabbing RGIII, then still taking a QB with that roster? Didn't Hue run off 8 starters on a 2-14 team????? What am I missing?

Both QBs are signed to frontloaded contracts, and can be cut next year if the Eagles wish with no probs. Eagles' new coach is a QB/offensive guy and understands how important the position is.

Oh and btw Hue Jackson is also an offensive guy who understands how hard it is to find those guys not to mention important. So while you're up in that real estate, take the effin QB. Both the Rams and Texans are great examples of teams that passed on Bortles in the 2014 draft to take Clowney and Robinson. Of course the team that took Bortles is now enjoying the fruit of their decision.

Lesson is that nothing is for sure in the draft, so if you're up in the elite real estate and a QB with a high ceiling is there, take him. Period. Hit on a QB with a high ceiling and you're in effin business for a long time.

Wasn't he getting misused by JJ Watt one game this year? I swear his legs look like my legs feel..Like mush...LOLOLOL!!!!

What a great mind you have Champ! Yes you did see Peat being abused by JJ.....my mistake. Peat was slow to see the field he did make it to the field late & saw action at three positions on the line (RT, LT, LG). He did have 3 starts @ ORT. Looks like he will start @ OLG in 2016 but it could change. So I should have posted that Peat was moved to OG like the other 5 OLT's.

I get why Cleveland would draft a QB, but cant fathom how the Eagles would.
The Eagles are invested to the tune of 25 mill for QB in 2016, how can they afford to draft a QB as well?
Something tells me that if Philly drafts QB, or moves up, Bradford is on his way to Denver

Not me...how can you develop a screwed up Robert Griffin and develop a rookie? With all the limits on practice time and contact with players & coaches? New offense...new team....If you want RGIII to be successful, seems as if he'd get the majority of the reps??? If you want the rookie to be ready for 2017, he'd get all the reps, no?
Maybe they're all hedging their bets...I'd just draft the right rookie...and if I miss, doesn't matter, cause I'll be drafting another one next season....

Plenty of reps for a #1 and a #2 to fight over.
When in a position to take the franchise QB, you have to take one. Cleveland has made some poor decisions lately, but that was in over drafting some guys in the mid 20's
Best case scenario is RGIII blows it up and then becomes a trade commodity.
With Philly, they've already got 2 QB fighting for snaps, and being paid a combined 25 mill. Cant see how they draft a QB but what do I know

Carson Wentz - QB - Player
Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reports there is a "growing sense" the Cowboys will target a quarterback with the No. 4 overall pick.

TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline reported last week North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz is among the "top three" players on the Cowboys' draft board. Dallas might be interested in adding a quarterback at No. 4, but Wentz and Cal's Jared Goff could be off the board by then. The Titans reportedly have a "solid offer" on the table for the No. 1 overall pick, and any team trading up would almost certainly be targeting a quarterback.

What the GM isn't saying is the first two weeks after he put the pick up for trade nobody called. The two weeks after one team called. BOOM! Interest increase.
