That downward trajectory must have been especially hard on McVay... playing games that didn't matter. We'll see how he does next year. And maybe it is time to trade Stafford and Donald for multiple #1 picks. Maybe they are already trying. Why not, at this point?

Honestly, I'm not sure why you care what Snead calls it. Remodel, rebuild, reload.... Who gives a flip. The Rams are a year removed from hoisting the Lombardi. Snead deserves a lot of the credit for that.

Do I agree with everything he does? Oh hell no...in fact you named a lot of questionable moves by him and the FO. I just think we owe him the benefit of the doubt here. Let's see how it all plays out in 2023/2024.

It sounds like there were about 4 suitors for Ramsey ( which would have brought the price up) but when he started making contract demands and adjusts then that left only one, the Dolphins and they knew at that point there was not a competitive market for him, hence the third and a third stringer.

Which I could have heard how that conversation went down for the last month and a half with all these teams.

Neither are any of the top Rams analysts. Jake Ellenbogen went off yesterday - he is the best Rams analyst and usually a big homer but even he couldn't justify this trade.

Why clean up my throat headline when it is exactly the truth. Snead flat out lied to us he didn't need to come out and call his off-season goals a remodel. Getting rid of 3 of the 4 top defensive players offering a top wr a chance to seek a trade tells me this is a rebuild pure and simple. Tell us straight it was not a surprise there have been many threads on pending changes, tight cap, likely cap casualties etc. so no one didn't potentially see it coming.

It is insulting to the posters, fan base etc to lie to them to this type of magnitude when they could come out be straight and say hey we had a great run but unfortunately we need to make massive changes.

But not to whitewash the elephant in the room is the Ramsey trade which I label as GM malfeasance on an epic level combine that with Snead lying to us and this organization has lost a lot of credibility in many eyes.

Lastly I must say everyone is super clear on my position I have endlessly defended Snead and said he is the best or one of the best GMs even after the Goff resigning which was a collosal fuck up based on when it occurred.
