I thought Odyssey was the furthest from an AC game ever, and even though I liked running around Greece as a Spartan warrior, I just never had that immersion. Maybe it was TOO big. Also, it all the camps and Spartan/Athenian camps were cut and paste from one part of the world to another. And don't get me started on those roaming bounty hunters. Ruined plenty a perfect stealth mission for me. And no hidden blade, like c'mon man!
If you haven't played AC Origins, that is one of the best.
Valhalla appears to look and feel like an AC game, especially based on the trailer. Targets, check. Kingdoms to conquer, check. Hidden blade, double check.
You sure Cyberpunk won't actually be releasing in 2077?
Speaking of Pokemon, I'm just about done with Pokemon Go. Hardly ever get anything good, and on the rare time I do, it's just unavoidable to make the good stuff great without throwing real money at it. I only do raids now with free passes to help my friends who do just that.
