The issue is that after a loss he told his team he wasn't flying back with them to spend time with family only to have video of him spending his time at his bar without family fingering a strangers ass instead. And then have to cancel team meetings to deal with the drama. If it was McVay doing that after a loss this place would need to be locked down for a few days.

Well, I suppose that nothing that happens in the NFL is "our business," but that's not really the point.
This is a guy who was suspended at Ohio State for failing to address a domestic violence issue involving one of his assistants. Now, he is in the NFL, and being filmed doing things that some might deem inappropriate for a 57 year old married grandfather to be doing.
I don't give a rat's ass who coaches the Jaguars, but am I going to express an opinion? Sure I am.
He's a slimebag. He's been a slimebag for a while. If he gets fired over this, it wouldn't be a big thing, but I'd say there would be a scintilla more justice in the world.

I mean, not to split hairs, but Urban's Pint House is very close to where he lived/lives here. My brother lives in the area and I drive it all the time, we're talking less than 5 miles away.
Because everyone gets the weekend off after a Thursday game, this was a no brainer. Cincy to that part of Columbus - well, that suburb of Columbus - is about 2 hrs.
In this scenario he's definitely spending time with his family - but also happened to go out one night. That's not a big deal in my book.
The idiotic part is feeling a girl up in public. He's super famous here - and going to his own establishment is a guarantee that cameras will be on the whole time. Use common sense. That's all if his wife is cool with him feeling up that girl - if she's not, he's a complete asshole all the way around.

Not like we didn't already know that Urban Meyer was a shitty dude based on his previous stops eh Chris? I mean Meyer has never been concerned with toeing the line on off field behavior for himself or his team. He is who he is this is not some illuminating event tbh.
The owner who hired him needs to either own that as part of the price of the hire, or admit his mistake and pay the dude a lot of money to be on a beach sticking his fingers in asses to his heart's content.
Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out get your bowl of popcorn ready.

Because you had Robinson. Made no sense to spend a first rounder there. Especially when you're building a roster up. That's a perfect place to trade back from.
There's much more you could've done to help Lawrence, imo.

So it was a questionable pick and that makes him a shit hire got it thought you were saying it made him a shit person I misread that. Got it sorry, though I get adding a weapon. Two good running backs on a team imo is a good thing though the Pick probably could have been spent better.

To *me*, it was a shit pick and was just part of the "shitty hire" package which included someone who had no business coaching pros, no understanding of coaching pros and no experience in building an NFL roster.

I don't think enough people appreciate the difference in coaching men who are working for a living and college kids.
