Who lost the game, well Stafford's pick and a bunch of misses in the first half. Think they were 4-5 open guys and he just missed them. one in the end zone if he would have just thrown it to the corner.
Those are just bad plays and they happen. But when McVay called that mid range throw to Adams on what ? 3rd and short.............................................. just run the ball and get the fucking 1st down coach. We can get a yard on 2 tries coach. But both plays need to be runs.
Said it many times, short yardage, too many things have to happen right on a completed pass. Run the ball, less things need to be accomplished and far less risk.
Than you have another stupid call on a critical short yardage, think it was 4th down. He pulled a Dick LAMEBRAIN Vermiel move and had everyone bunch up tight, mano on mano and ran straight into the teeth of their defense. Who's defensive line is better than out offensive line.
Coach, watch and learn from the great offensive mind of Mike Martz. Spread them out in 3 receiver sets on short yardage. Give your RB some space dude by forcing the defense to defend that space. They have no other choice but to defend it. It takes from them and gives to you. And if you surprise them with a pass on short yardage you have multiple receivers to throw to.
No piles of humanity when their pile of humanity is bigger and stronger than ours !
Take the best of what Martz did and put it to use coach. He had his issues but some things he was very, very good at.

Yeah but 2 blocked FGs is unheard of. His kicks were way to low and easy to block. I agree that scoring TDs would have made this point moot but the reality is Karty had 2 opportunities and kicked way too damn low on both. The ending to this game which should have been a victory was brutal.

So he had no problem with the first 4 fgs then suddenly he was kicking them low? C'mon man.

Barkley and Hurts got 86 yards on the ground. But somehow the Rams pulled a shanny and blew a big second half lead. I didn't get to see the second half of the game so I didn't see the melt down. I thought we had it done when the Rams went up 26-7.

The FG teams needs to be shored up now. Can't allow that to cost us anymore.

And, we kicked too many FGs. One more TD and the game would have been won. Too little too late now.

Fuck. Ive never been more confident then right before that fucking kick. I thought “ no way it happens again, we got this” Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkk

What do you mean c'mon? Its obvious to anyone with eyes that both kicks were low. He obviously got the first 4 kicks up high enough but back to back blocks clearly showed it was a problem. Don't get worked up cuz you don't see it. Someone mentioned that the hold looked like it sucked but I'm not sure that was the case on both kicks. Either way, that needs to be corrected and Karty needs to do his part on that too. And for the umpteenth time, yes those kicks were too low. Shitty that it happened. Also add that Limmer shouldn't ever be on the field again either. It was a whole bunch of shit gone wrong apparently with our last 2 field goal attempts. Damn this shit sucks..... I'm getting a drink now lol

I just hope McVay learned today that the coaches on the other sideline arent telling their guys to take a knee and the dub. I get that DL dont get many chances to score, but just go down. Maybe McVay will less likely to let up on either side of the ball. Both sides of the ball played well for most of the game and both came up short many times in the 2nd half.

It irks me so much. Go for the kill. Stop being Mr fucking nice guy.

I remember when the oilers were flogging the Bills by 32 points in a play off game and then the hc told them to muzzle the hounds on defense. Then the Bills came back and won with the back up qb. Disgusting.

The d players never forgave the coaches. The oilers were never the same again.

I don't want that to happen to the Rams.

Beau Limmer is the next John St Clair. He’s a professional turnstile.
McVay never uses all the players to his strengths. Why sign Tutu to $10 million and draft Ferguson and never use them in the offense is beyond stupid. McVay has got to go.

I couldn't disagree more.

If the oline held its ground all they could do was jump straight up in the air and the ball would have sailed easily over their hands. But allowing them to get 4 yards into the back field, what chance does the kicker have.

Too low my arse.

I don't think McVay let up.
The Eagles have an offense that is hard to stop. The Rams did not have, because Witherspoon was out, that could physically match up with Brown. Really missed Witherspoon today.
Going deep on 3rd and 2 was strange to me. I understand it was man against Adams. That may have been Stafford call on that. You see him matched up one on one in man and its tempting. That said, a first down there goes a very long way to putting the game out of reach. Of course if Adams hauls that in its a great call and everyone loves it. I also understand him being aggressive having already decided he was going on fourth down if he didn't it on 3rd down.
Running a deep handoff to right side when Dotson was out was a strange call to me.
Throwing down the sideline to Puke on the last possession as time was almost expired was an aggressive call as well. Ball was a little short but I understand that play call as well.
For all the strangeness of this game and the stuff that went pearshaped in the second half, the Rams running game was very good. 5 plus yards a carry. A lot changes week to week with opponent but that goes a long way to opening up stuff. The Rams O is putting together chunk plays that were largely missing last year....thats a very good sign.
No idea how the Colts D has looked or what their strengths/weaknesses are.
Daniel Jones is playing good ball so far this year.

The hold looked wonky on that last kick too.

This was such a horrific loss they might scapegoat Limmer.
It wouldn't surprise me. And it would be moreso "you're not good enough right now."

That said I don't think that will happen, because he's a young player who did good things for us at center as a rook. But holy fuck he has been terrible at guard. To the point where they have to be thinking what will we do if we don't get Avila back soon.

Since Dedich is ahead of him on the depth chart he is basically the 2nd iOL depth piece, which is getting into that roster bubble range (what probably saves him is being the center backup). I doubt they could just go find someone better, but if they like someone out there he may be gone.
