The makeup of the team is so frustrating. Eagles have a great D and the Rams ran all over them. Biggest problem is the absolute void the Rams have as a 3rd receiving option.

Red zone and 3rd down play calling has to change. Keep the chains moving, quit giving up on the run game, quit throwing the ball 30 yards down field on 3rd and 2.

6 fucking field goal attempts in one game is on the coaches.

I wonder if we had a young Torry Holt at #3 if he would see the ball? Stafford always seems to focus on or two guys and that's it. No Higbee today either, although I assume ge was used to block most of the time.

Also, I sadly, am not so sure we will beat the Eagles if we meet them again in the playoffs like everyone else seems to be. They don't impress me much. We always out play them. But what they are amazing at is not shooting themselves in the foot over and over and over again. They do make mistakes. No team is perfect. Barkley dropped a pass near the end that could have sealed it. But they really are great a keeping catastrophic self-inflicted wounds to a minimum. If only the Rams were so lucky. We pissed this game away just like we did our last meeting with all the turnovers. If we meet a third time, why would the outcome be differerent. I am getting tired of moral victories vs. Eagles. "We should have won". "We had them beat". "We were the better team". All true but who cares if you get the L?

We need to clean things up. Badly.
The plays were there to be made offensively, we just didn’t get it done.
The officials weren’t our friends either.
They don’t need to help us, just don’t consistently hurt us.

Colts are 3-0 and playing really good ball. Jonathon Taylor is running the ball as well as any player in the league. Going to be a battle next week.
This game at least showed that our run defense is much improved. Holding Barkley the way they did isn't easy. We'll definitely see them tested next week but I feel like if we put it in Daniel Jones' hands to beat us, he'll crumble.

Yeah, missing Avilla who I believe would have been lined up there, killed us. Avilla's 6-3 325 vs Limmer being 6-5 310. He was pushed off balance immediately. Avilla probably stands in there a bit better. Davis did jump the count, but you still have to slow him down.

I doubt Limmer will ever go see the Liberty Bell on vacation. Philly must give him nightmares

He was filling in for Dotson who left the field injured.

.

Tough loss, we completely imploded across the board in the second half. Can someone remind me again why we're paying Tutu Atwell 10 million this year? He's been completely non-existent and I'm sure we could have used that money elsewhere.
Everyone but Mcvay could see that was a terrible move. Could have went after the ATl center. Could have drafted an interior lineman early instead of moving back and getting a 4th TE.

If we prioritized Oline we would be rolling teams every week.

That said, I think today we showed we are a powerhouse and I expect the right adjustments. Namely Limmer has to go.

I don’t think a rookie interior lineman helps us short term. The debate might be which helps us long term. Is it Ferguson or unnamed interior lineman?

I really believe this game was a black eye for the NFL.
Sooo many issues.
Puka does that gig after every first down catch that he makes.
Like, whatever tha phuk is that about?
Many missed PI calls too .
But the defense allowed them to score on 3 long drives, and also converting several 3rd and longs on their way.
Sickening.

I was amazed that Higbee’s name wasn’t called when he gave Philly so many problems last time! Was he the primary receiver on any route? Same for Allen
