I suppose this is the vent thread and I’m pissed as well. But it’s one game. And honestly, a pretty good game for us in a lot of aspects. There are no moral victories in this league. But I still see some huge promise. And that goes double watching a lot of other games.

Go Rams!!!

What I saw was the DB thru his hands in and got lucky to have the ball find his hand.

We would have had a DPI for faceguarding.

Not sure I blame DA on that pass.
Faceguarding is not a PI call. He had both hands on the receiver. If he’s pushing him off, definitely a call. We need Adams to be Adams, not Josh Reynolds.

.

Well, we wanted hurts to beat the Rams with his arm and to his credit, he did it.

They had the Eagles exactly where they wanted them. Down big, needing to pass, allowing the dline to attack. Came up empty.

Goddamnit. Beyond pissed at that loss. There are no moral victories. Settle for FGs early, pay the price.

Pro scouts need to earn their money! This team is close. We need another Doctsosn. Or Corbett. Someone that can come in and play well that others team for whatever reason cannot use correctly or are casting off. Current situation is dire. Worst ranked pass protection in the NFL apparently, with 2 o-lineman gimpy.
I don’t disagree, but we’ve gone up again three tough D lines. If this ish happens against Indy, Arizona, Seattle, etc., then it’s time to really worry.

When was the last time the Rams drafted an o-lineman the in the first two rounds?

This is what happens.

Snead obviously is a good GM but I think his one weakness is he doesn't seem to draft Guards anywhere near early.

Colts are 3-0 and playing really good ball. Jonathon Taylor is running the ball as well as any player in the league. Going to be a battle next week.

Steve Avila.

Havenstein was drafted in the second round as well.

The refs gave us almost too much to overcome, but the field goal issues sunk us

It’s a tough loss considering we outplayed them for large parts of the game, but man, we made some mistakes along the way

Epic collapse by the defense.
As upset by two blocked field goal attempts and ridiculous officiating as I am, they shouldn’t have been a factor.
Those second half long drives and 3rd down conversions are what did the damage.
The last field goal attempt wouldn’t have been needed to close this game out.
I’m gonna be sick to my stomach for awhile after this game.
And having to hear about it for the next week will suck, too.

When the Rams got stuffed on 4th down i didn't even need to look at the head on replay. I knew it was going to be Limmer that let them through.

Useless.

I’m not even mad at the officiating. It’s the same narrative driven massaging calls every week in every game these days.

McVay is on my shit list for the end of the first half and his uber conservative tactics and his nice guy competitive spirit from time to time.

You don’t sit on the ball in Philly with 3 TO’s and 2 min left. Period.

Yeah, missing Avilla who I believe would have been lined up there, killed us. Avilla's 6-3 325 vs Limmer being 6-5 310. He was pushed off balance immediately. Avilla probably stands in there a bit better. Davis did jump the count, but you still have to slow him down.

I doubt Limmer will ever go see the Liberty Bell on vacation. Philly must give him nightmares

when stafford is on he is great but unfortunately when he is off he is below average. also, mcvay seems to game plan to highlight a player but he usually winds up going to puka. and where is ferguson and the rest of the tight end

Prevent D in 2nd half after that sack/fumble. And playing not to lose.
Typically, prevent D and playing not to lose leads to: preventing you from winning (i.e., losing)

Too many overthrown balls by Staff, stupid play calling by McVay on 3rd and short, Shula playing soft zone when our Dline is not getting to the qb... the game could have been over at half if we cleaned up a lot on offense and actually turned fg's into td's. I would hope that our coaching staff learns from this, but they usually pull the same shit multiple times a yr when they panic.
