I'm good if they never win a SB for the rest of my life.As far as I’m concerned, they can wait as long as the Red Sox did during the Curse of the Bambino

…and counting. F the 69ers!As of February 18, 2026, it has been 11,343 days (or roughly 31 years) since the San Francisco 49ers last won a Super Bowl.

Window closing on key vet players but they draft well. McCarthy was average at best as a runner but still elite as a RB receiver. They need someone else to pound the rock. Looking forward to further regression on their offense. Ratboy will be fully gray by end of season.I was surprised at the offensive run they had late in the season. They won 7 of 8. But those games were against teams like AZ, Ind, Car, Cle, Ten. Chicago was good but not on defense. The 49ers were shut down when they faced a legit defense.
I was also surprised McCaffrey lasted the whole season. Sure, he's no longer the 2023 version. But he was a valuable outlet for the QB's. I don't see him getting any better though. He was heavily used again. And now he's reaching the age where RB's diminish quickly.
They'll be looking at serious cap constraints over the next couple years. Purdy's cap hit isn't that bad right now but will rise quite a bit in a couple years. Beginning in 2028 his cap hit jumps to 57 mil. 72 mil the 65 mil the following two years. Bosa and Williams will combine for around 80 mil this year. Bosa coming off another serious injury. Williams aging. Warner cap his climbs to almost 30 mil per year for 3 years beginning in 2027.
Their Superbowl window has been closed for a while. Their playoff window might be closing real soon. According to OTC they go from 9th most cap space this year to the least cap space next year. The only team projected to be in the red next year.
Then they have to contend with the two teams who have the best odds of winning the next Superbowl. If I'm a 49er fan I'm depressed about their outlook the next few years.
I can’t believe how well the 49’ers did. They were legit despite injuries. But key guys are getting older. I think their window is definitely in jeopardy.I was surprised at the offensive run they had late in the season. They won 7 of 8. But those games were against teams like AZ, Ind, Car, Cle, Ten. Most rational supporters in their situation would be but Niners fans are generally delusionalIf I'm a 49er fan I'm depressed about their outlook the next few years.
I think they’re past “jeopardy.” The only thing that has spared them collapse was getting extremely, dare I say, HISTORICALLY, lucky with a 7th round pick in purdy. He is a fighter and smart in his pre snap reads; but at the end of the day, he has a 7th round arm.I can’t believe how well the 49’ers did. They were legit despite injuries. Yeah but if they continue to have them in the Bay Area, there will never be a home field advantage."This was a horrible Super Bowl," the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver declared. "They should never ever, ever, ever bring the Super Bowl back to San Francisco. … It was ‘blah’ in the city, you know what I mean? It just wasn’t jumping."
"Literally, you could not go anywhere on the streets," he said. "It took forever to get right down the street because traffic was so bad." Irvin also expressed his hope that future Super Bowls are not awarded to the region.
