No… 5th round pick WR Jacob Cowing Arizona

He’s 5’8” 168 lbs…
Sorry about that. I know the 9er base started griping after the first pick. Apparently they were unaware of ayuck’s situation and the decline of kibble and dweebo and how that all will be affected when it’s time to re-sign purdy.

Not sure what team would want to give up a high pick plus pay 52 million over the next two years for an aging WR who can't beat man coverage,
Send in the experts.

Okay. I’d rather they hadn’t picked Malik Mustapha and Isaac Guerrendo
The knock on Guerrendo is while he's very fast on the track it doesn't translate as much on the football field as you would think. Doesn't have the explosiveness to match his 40 time.

I hope that’s true. I wonder if they want to try him at kick return

Is it safe to assume Aiyuk's agent will demand they pay him similar to Aman Ra St. Brown's deal? 4 years 120 million with 77 million guaranteed. I say pay Aiyuk. Then after the annual post season choke job they end up making some difficult cuts being so far over the cap. Thrusting them back to mediocrity or worse. While we're back in the championship discussion.

This article calls the whiner's decision "the last dance". Meaning they'll keep the team together in an effort to finally win a championship, but if they fail, they will face serious salary cap implications. IMO, worse than the Rams had this past season.

Sounds like Stockton. I wear Rams gear anytime I am not working. I see a few whiner fans wearing gear, but their flags all disappeared the day after the super bowl.
Hahaha I can concur on Stockton as I was there once upon a time. Now imagine living in central Cali in general. Those shitheads are everywhere, talk the most shit, constantly refer to our stadium as Levi South, make the most excuses when they choke, and get all butt hurt when you point out they haven't won shit in almost 30 years. Shut the fuck up you bitch ass Whiners fans. Your team hasn't done shit.

They will, it's called the Superbowl hangover and will be glorious to see.

I have quite a few friends that are whiner fans, they dont say shit. I just ask if they still have the VHS from the last whiner Super Bowl win. That humbles their sorry asses every time. But down in LA they are pretty cocky, thought I was going to have to fight my way out of Sofi after the week 18 loss in 21, wish I coulda been there for the NFCC game.

Man idk, think Rat Boy is wanting a Kupp of his own and their pick looks pretty fucking good. Reminds me of Kupp tbh.
The thing with ratboy is that once he finds a piece that produces he rides it till the wheels fall off. Dweebo and Kibble are perfect examples, McCaffery is due for a stint on IR for the trifecta.

Hopefully all 3 see the bench a lot in ‘24

That's when the whiners fans start the "but we won 5 championships" business.

Well, the Rams won 4 (2 prior to the Super Bowl ERA).

How great do Rams fans feel about those 1945 and 1951 titles?

Super Bowl 56 was the bomb because;

We beat the whiners in the NFCCG and we won as the LA Rams, which for me personally, slayed some demons from the 1970s and 1980s Rams that had some powerhouse teams that never won the Super Bowl.

Bragging about titles from before they were born makes them the worst fan base by a large margin.

From the article, if the 49’ers stumble out of the gate; grab some popcorn.

——

If the 49ers and Aiyuk agree to a long-term deal before the start of the season, that would be a clear signal to Samuel that he’s gone after 2024.

Good times.

These things happen regularly in NFL organizations, and proud competitors like Samuel and Aiyuk are certainly capable of compartmentalizing and performing at a high level amid uncertainty and awkwardness.

Samuel, however, isn’t your average dude.

Two years ago, Samuel had a highly contentious contract dispute that included a public trade request. The 49ers eventually threw money at the problem, signing him to a three-year, $71.55 million extension. He has two years remaining on his contract, and the cap consequences of releasing or trading him after the coming season are relatively tame.

Here’s the potential subplot: Samuel could enter a lame-duck season in 2024 lining up opposite the receiver the 49ers paid at his expense (Aiyuk, assuming he and the 49ers have agreed to an extension) while giving up targets to his eventual replacement (Pearsall). In that scenario Aiyuk would also be making more than Samuel, who’d be especially mindful of his own numbers and their effect on his next contract with another team.

What could go wrong?

Having an abundance of weapons is an NFL luxury that also carries a potential downside — there’s only one ball, and production and money are inextricably linked. When a team is winning, a lot of that tension tends to be glossed over. However, if things start going poorly, the situation can degenerate quickly.

For the 49ers in 2024, the potential for implosion will be real.

I for one am not sold on Purdy, I look for DCs to make life more difficult for him this season. Especially when he has to face NFC West opponents like the Rams. Teams usually seem to get up a little more for these divisional games.

Guerrendo is way overrated. He gets taken down way too easy for a running back his size.

Guerendo is way overrated (never liked his tape either).

Cody Schrader isn't. He's actually good. Dead to me, but he's fucking good, and I bet he makes the fucking Whiners team.
