The accident was July 14. I wonder why they took so long to let the public know?
I think we all probably know why but let’s not jump to conclusions either.

Regardless, I hope he’s okay and recovering quickly because I want to beat this team at full strength, always. Wishing our enemy a speedy recovery (and I quote from Troy “even enemies can show respect”).

Three broken ribs, broken nose, facial laceration and a severe concussion.

I hate the whiners but this is not what I hate about them.

Hope he gets back 100% soon.

GO RAMS!!!
I read he had 40 stitches on his face. Ouch. Thats gonna leave a mark.

OTC has the shitters with the most cap space in 2026. 71 mil. Then look at the 2027 cap space. They're in the red by 35 mil. Only two teams are worse. For 2028 they're currently the only team projected to be in the red. They got some huge cap hits coming. Purdy and Bosa combine for over 100 mil in 2028. Purdy's cap hit will be 71 mil in 2029.

I know they will be doing some restructuring and other things to reduce the cap hits, but they aren't gonna have a lot of money to play with over the next few years. They might be in a serious rebuild mode soon. Their core is already aging and more injury prone with declining skills.

Meanwhile the Rams only aging core player is Stafford. Who seems to be getting better with age. The 49ers haven't been terrible with the day 2 and 3 picks. But they aren't on the level of the Rams. The 49ers have been terrible with first round picks under Shanahan and Lynch. Solomon Thomas, Ruben Foster, Mike McGlinchy, Nick Bosa, Javon Kinlaw, Brandon Aiyuk, Trey Lance, Ricky Pearsall, Mykel Williams.

Bosa's the only first round hit. And he seems to be declining already. Not to mention a couple serious knee injuries.

Niners should have probably focused on a rebuild this season. Williams was holding out for more money. Kittle isn’t likely to be available until late in the season coming off the Achilles tear suffered in January if at all. They have cap space to lure in guys like Mike Evans but literally are bankrupt going forward cap wise with lots of money tied up in players like Kittle, Williams and Bosa who are either coming off significant injuries or just entering the twilight of their careers. Niners front office is giving Shanahan and Lynch one more opportunity to win a Super Bowl before they tear it all down and rebuild. CMC is already nursing a calf/ Achilles strain at the start of camp and with his history of that injury plus Kyle’s insistence to completely overuse him it’s just a matter of time before he’s facing a career threatening injury. I think Williams, Bosa, Kittle and CMC are playing their last season in a Niners uniform and likely in the NFL and the Niners will be doing a complete rebuild with a new G.M. , Head Coach and a revamped front office in 2027. Their best opportunity to win a Championship was in 2021 and the Rams took them out in the NFC Championship. A couple years later in the 2024 Super Bowl they squandered an OT lead and lost to the Chiefs. They had no chance last season against the Seahawks and the success they had from benefiting from a last place schedule was likely the worst thing that could have possibly happened to the franchise. They are DONE! Stick a Fork in them.
