I want the niners to lose as much as the next person.

Some things transcend sports though.
Wishing the best to Trent and his wife.
Second 49ers personal tragedy this year.

All the feels, for Trent and family....

Man...may baby Trenton rest in peace and paradise. I feel terrible for Williams and his family.

Just not a good year for that team, on so many levels.

This is a fun excuse making post by RG3 for the Niners. The responses are also tasty with all of the whining and excuse making ib the comments section. I, of course, trolled them a bit and you can too!

That was a whole lot of talking by RG3 to simply say that chemistry and your ability to perform at a high level goes to shit when your main stars are injured. Pretty simple. Throw in a bit of ego bullshit that a lot of their stars have and it makes a fun watch.

Oh, I was enjoying the responses by Niner fans more than RG3's TLDR post.

Injuries are the main reason for the 49ers problems this year. But if we delve a little deeper its almost not surprising. Their core is aging. It just seems when they cross that 30 year old threshold injuries creep up more often. They get dinged up more and miss a few games throwing the chemistry off.

CMC and Deebo are not really old by professional players standards. But I believe its how they are used. CMC was used very heavily last season. Was great for him to earn he OPOY. And got him a nice extension. But now he's paying the price. I've heard it mentioned that his achilles is looking like a chronic thing. He'll likely never be the same. Its also possible he didn't trust it and ended up compensating and it results in an injury elsewhere.

Deebo isn't old for a NFL WR. But his game is predicated on taking short passes and breaking tackles for bigger gains. Like a running back. He clearly is not the same guy he was. And he will miss a few games in a season.

Trent Williams sure gets dinged up a lot too. Kinda hard for the line to develop chemistry when your left tackle is in and out of the lineup.

And now they have some big money paydays coming up. Looks like they pushed some money to later years. So next year, while they won't have a lot, they can pay Purdy. Problem for them is, the core is aging and injury prone. After next year all that deferring to later years is gonna hit them hard. The window is closing fast. They might be a .500 or slightly better team next year. But I see them spending a lot of time in the cellar after that.

Deebo's an underneath RAC threat. He's not a field stretching threat. This is why it was so funny when he started complaining about his usage under Ratboy, when that usage is what maximized his threat to defenses.

Baldy is right on the $$. Dweebo has never been a top notch receiver. His value was catching short passes and breaking tackles. As for being a RB, he’s been replaced—which he WANTED.

Not for nothing, but every time I watch the NFCCG replay, I comment on how big a mistake it was when he fielded that kickoff that was destined to go out of bounds (putting the ball at the 40). Remember? He grabbed it on the bounce and had to tippy toe several steps to stay in bounds and then got caught around the 15 trying to cut it across field.

I don’t think he gets called out on that play enough.
He’s through.

LOL, who gives a rat's arse? I hope the hard luck continues for the whiners. :)

.

Nobody cared about the Rams injuries during the 22 season.

They were all supposedly (i don't watch all those crappy shows so I can only go by what was said here that season) crowing about the Rams woes, saying they had to pay the piper for their superbowl win and wouldn't be relevant again for years.

The know nothing Nimrods.
