No, he's not a one game wonder. He's a young player coming into his own. Their secondary will feel the impact no doubt.
I've followed Michigan since the Anthony Carter days they've always been my other team(football) besides Louisville. He had 4.5 of his 7.5 sacks in the Tampa game which I'm sure inflated that rating however they come up with it.

Lots of football left.

We need to go on a run like last year.

We won like 7 of 8 games to finish out.

Need to win those division games starting with Seattle next week.

We could be a dark horse if we punch our ticket to the dance.

Needless to say he drew a lot of double teams or chips from RB's. With no other players on the DL playing close to his level the sack numbers are sure to drop yet his pressure rate and win % could still be really high.

It's like when you have an elite WR1. If you don't have any other receivers that can threaten the secondary then DC's are going to slide coverage.

Another example would be when Steven Jackson was basically the entire offense back in the day. Defenses loaded the box and dared the passing game to beat them. Same concept.

1-1 in the division and our point diff isn't good right now. We are entering an away/home weekly rotation now with two trips to the east coast. Let's see how that plays out.

Sacks are a dynamic stat but they don’t tell the whole story. Case in point how many sacks does Verse have and how impactful is he despite couple of sacks?

Pressures are important but with so many mobile QB's I want the QB on the ground not pressured and running for a first down or dumping it off

The Rams need to sweep the rest of the division games and win the NFC west outright. It’s the best path because of their abysmal conference record (currently). Plus they haven’t been so hot on the road. Going into the postseason as a division winner gets you one home game at least.
…then they would be feared.

The Rams have ALWAYS had the team in 2024 to be a contender!!
In FACT I’D say they could even be
such a better team with everything that has happened to them this season.

—MAN I LOVED Hoecht Thursday. He was asked to play MLB - lol. He was flying around. The SAD thing is that EJ53 is missed.Leg the Hags with 15 tackles (7 solo).Kobie Turner led The Rams with 6 tackles.

How will Soeights play this week ? He will need to fill that VOID!! We (I) it as Rams Fans.I guess I’ve enjoyed watching Troy Reeder though just hold down the Forte.
That’s why I’ve been so UPSET at Sean Mcvay !!

His players play for him & if not & they don’t buy in there GONE!!! It’s SAD but TRUE !! That’s why his teams have such HEART though !!!

Les SNEAD is waiting to do his part, but what does this season mean ?? He’s the one who is looking to find that piece & make that trade.

The RAMS coaching staff is by far THE BEST in the league when it comes to player development!!

Puka - talked about ReHabbing with DK1. It makes me wonder how close he is of coming back.

I heard a report about T’ White & about looking for trade partners.Having D. Williams back & healthy sure made a difference.
(What a disappointment).T’White ?

Cobie Durant sure has played well.Man I look back at the Detroit game & how close he came of win that game. All he had to do was come down with the ball from jumping 48 inches(close to ?) with that INT !! He got hurt on that play though. Then to see that fumble caused for 6 to win that game ??

Whiterspoon adding depth & making that play in the end.Sort of upsetting they don’t sign him for depth & add T’ White. They say he brings leadership, but man he has to be Top Worse in 2024.I understand injuries, but why ? Is that over thinking WE not ME ?? We as a RAMS team looked as good as any. -St.Brown brings bad memories??

^^This is what has changed since McVay showed up.
And it started with bringing in Woods and Whitworth.
The third “W” came immediately—WINNING.

YEP - but drafting KUPP made a huge difference. The BOND he & Woos had was phenomenal.

I’d add John Sullivan to that mix .
Brockers bought in from the start.
as well.

Pretty simple really. The Rams can score points with all of their skill players healthy. This defense, as currently constructed, is built to play with a lead. We saw the blue print of what they hoped to be last Thursday.

Upfront they can put their ears back. With D”Williams back and healthy it changes a lot of it.

Sort of funny that John Johnson isn’t missed with this young rookie DB’s(safeties)

One game at a time. Let's beat the Seachickens. And then I will savor Metcalf's tears from my medieval goblet whilst I smugly peruse the fallout thread. All week long ahhh yeeeeuh.

It was an excellent upset no doubt. However Super Bowl contenders generally play a high level of complimentary football.
Complimentary football also means your offense is helping out your defense and vice verse. That's pretty hard to do when your two best offensive threats are out along with a patchwork O-line. It will be interesting to see how complimentary Tampon's football becomes without their two stars.

But way to pick the "as of" date as the day before we got Kupp and Nacua back. Kind of defines cherry picking.
