The NFL regular season started 99 days ago and since then the Rams have went 10-3 and for the most part they have been outstanding.

It's kind of interesting that what happens over the next 6 days and 8 quarters of football will go almost as far as the first 99 to shape the perception of how good this 2025 team really is. Hyperbole? Maybe a little but not much.

Are we the 1 seed or the wild card?
Does Stafford win the MVP?
Are we the legit superbowl favorites or just over achievers?
A lot of questions will be answered by the end of Thursday night.

Well Stafford has only lost 1 game in the month of December with the Rams. This is soul stealing time. McVay and Stafford tend to go to another level this time of year so I'm expecting good things.
Yep, I believe he’s 13-1 in the month of December. And while this might be the toughest December stretch he’s faced, I believe this is the best Rams offense since he got here.

The next 6 days? The next 6 weeks!!! Beat Detroit and they'll have to beat Seattle to get a division lead. Beat Seattle and they'll have to beat Atlanta to get the #1 seed. Beat Atlanta and they may have to beat Detroit to stay ahead of SF. And then the postseason starts and they have to prove shit all over again. What have you done for me lately. I like our chances because of what they've proven so far. We have a great offense, terrific defense and our special teams have improved. Keep working!!! Beat Detroit!!

I am pleased with hearing that the Lions defensive secondary is currently ranked 28th in the league, let's make that 32nd after Sunday.
It just means they have no choice but to get to Stafford. I guarantee they will hit him late. They will do it over and over if the refs don't call it right away.

NFL Network hat the 2023 playoff game today. I turned it on just to see Higbee get injured. It was 24-23. Very close and IMO, Detroit had a much better team than the Rams at that time. 7 of the 11 offensive starters from that game, will start this game and the other 4 will be Davante, McClendon, Parkinson and Allen (probably). On the defensive side however, Young, Durant and Witherspoon are the only starters still with the Rams. Lake is on IR. I believe we are MUCH better on that side of the ball.

This is where every fan hopes their team will be: in the driver's seat for the #1 overall seed halfway through December with big games on the horizon.

So crack a cold one and enjoy it.

No doubt.
Life is good for Rams fans.
Really, really good.

Every coach repeats most of the same cliches, like "winning in the trenches" and "taking care of the football" and McVay does too. The difference is he means it, then he coaches it and stresses it. He talk a lot about the importance of being fully present.
I try to apply that to my life and espescially to this era of Rams football.
