I got tired of listening to my loud air compressor when I wanted to rotate tires or work on brakes. And since my old cheap Black and Decker cordless drill/screwdriver died, I decided to kill two birds with one stone. I bought the 24v Brushless impact gun from Lowe’s made by Kobalt. I am impressed. The little lightweight tool is versatile and powerful. I have something that can drill holes, tighten and loosen screws and can bust lug nuts loose. On top of that, a spare battery is only $20. Happy with this little thing. I would never have bet that it could handle the torque required for lug nuts.

Picked these guys up on Friday. They are called Look Downs. My boys and I have been wanting to get one of these for a long time. We've even tried to catch them down in the Keys so we could add one into the tank. There are full grown ones down there that feed around our underwater lights at night. We've never been able to catch one though. These guys are small... they're only about the size of a silver dollar. They are so shiny silver that it's hard to get a good pic of them... the shine they put off is almost blinding.

Those must be the fish we were watching on a drunken night at the docks in Key West. Apparently we weren't hallucinating.. They actually look a lot like Opal Eyes with smaller eyes.

I bought the same drill it seems. I did my brakes on my Chevy yesterday. It was a total pain in the ass but the drill was great to have.

They are super shiny and they like to feed at night. You probably did see these there. They are so flat... you can only see them when their sides are facing you. When they are facing directly at you... they literally disappear. They're unbelievably flat.

Oh - that's funny. I just looked up Opal Eyes on Google and they aren't even close to the fish we used to catch on the beach in southern California. These things were about the size of your hand, bright silver with Opal eyes, and you only caught them first thing in the morning.

Obviously not the same fish but really tasty - like a perch but less boney and firmer flesh.

Yeah. They were flashing us. Little perverts. :p

But seriously, there were some boats with LEDs on their sterns next to Buffet's dock and we saw these bright flashes in the water. They scrammed as soon as we went over but came back when we hid a little.

I bet people thought we were on something as we kept trying to sneak up on them while laughing like kids. Yeah ... We were probably a sight.

I bought a Sony 4K blu ray player with Dolby Vision. I compared Avengers: Endgame on my 4K UHD disc vs. streaming it on Disney+.

The 4K disc wins by a mile. Holy crap.

Hahahahaha! Can't unsee that now. :ROFLMAO: Sorry my brother but that is too funny. Maybe paint that red part copper.

Fuck That... I like it better now.

It's like a message... I'm sending out an advertisement to all the ladies! That's what I said to Cammy right after she "dogged" it like that.

I decided a few weeks ago that I wanted to switch my tank back to a predator tank. For the last few years I had gone over to less of a predator and added lots of tangs, angels, wrasses, etc. I was still able to keep my giant golden puffer and my zebra moray eel with all of those.

I traded all of my non-predator fish... I still have the puffer and eel. This fish that I added was a fish that I actually wasn't sure if I was even going to be able to find for a long time... if at all. It was almost a miracle that my fish guy was able to locate this thing out in California and have it shipped out here in less than a week.

It's a bumblebee grouper. Eventually he will get so big I'll probably have to donate it to Sea World... they can grow to be 1000 lbs.... but that will be years away. This one is about 7 inches and he is liking his new home here in FLA.

So what does Sea World do with them

mind you , I've never been to Sea World

but you got me think , there must be other people that donate fish once they get to large

so what does Sea World do with them all , or is it not as many as I think

I had to google what a 1,000 lbs looks like

There are other places and people who might take a fish like this once it gets too large. There are some big aquariums out there.

Shaq actually has one of these guys in his tank. I heard he paid a large amount to get his too... he got one that is much older and larger than this one.

Maybe someone will pay me a nice sum for him if I'm able to grow him out. My tank can hold him until he gets to be pretty big... once he gets bigger than 3 ft long though... he'll need a new home. Hopefully I can keep him healthy that long.

Fry fish?

Funny you say that.

That's exactly what Cammy and T said. You know how much we love fresh grouper. Hahaha

It won't be possible though. I add copper into my water to help prevent disease on the fish. You can't add copper if you want live coral or invertebrates... copper kills them just like it kills disease. But it would also be poisonous to humans if you ate the fish.

I had a panther grouper that grew big enough to eat before I had previously switched my tank over to friendlier fish. He was probably 5 pounds or more. T was pissed when he heard that I didn't fillet his ass for a sandwich. Haha. I'm getting another panther to add in with this guy. They can live together. I'm also gonna add a lionfish.
