I would say 100 miles is still too close
They are going from an aging facility that honestly doesn't look terrible but is in the heart of congested Chicago and not much more can be done with the area to a horribly crime ridden shit hole on the Indiana border. Whatever floats their boat I suppose. Not sure what the "nice" parts of Hammond/Gary Indiana are but there's not a lot of them. I heard it'll be placed on Wolf Lake somewhere which is one of the few areas that doesn't look like a shit hole in the area but is completely surrounded by them. Nice place to dump a body or 20.

The owner and spokesperson said they would keep the entirety of Chicagos history intact. No name change. And it would probably cause a riot tbh.
They put all that money into Soldier Field not so long ago. Did't they gut that thing ? Its almost like the Packers leaving Lambeau Field.
It was over 20 years ago which might as well be a century for rich NFL owners. I went to the Rams game there in 2005 and it was either the first or second season after they were finished. I thought it looked pretty good and was a nice blend of history and new. But 20 years makes it old hat I guess. Edward Jones dome was built brand new and like 15 years old when someone decided they needed a new stadium.
Well, quite frankly, nowadays running out of ice melt at the local Home Depot can cause a riot on the South Side of Chicago.
Driven through it on interstate several times recently. You don't want to stop and actually be in it though. Unless you don't value your belongings, wheels on your car, or your life.Anyone been to Gary Ind recently?
